D1 d3 g1 and g2 filters are all the same. Just different lengths.

The same goes for the smaller Toyota filters like the f1 and f2

 

F1 and f2 will not seal though, don’t yall get any ideas. But they will thread on

 

The 93-94 cruiser use a huge filter and 95-97 use a much smaller one like the 5VZ takes despite being the same exact engine. An ih8mud user had an engine failure due to oil starvation from a WIX filter, they denied his claim to have the engine replaced because he was using the larger filter on a 96. :/

 

I used to use Mobil1 filters too, so much wasted money. If you wait for Conicelli to have their oil filter sale & 10% off sale at the same time you can get em for really cheap. I paid $2.70ea for my D3 filters, not that I care but even came with free drain plug washers. You just missed the last sale though which was last week. But any price around $5ea is still a good price.

As long as he replaced the filter with the oil that’s fine.

@Sperrunner and I were just looking through my parts stash. I have two sandblasted OEM calipers, and drilled/slotted PowerStop rotors. Did you need the calipers? Nothing wrong with 'em, I just put Tundra brakes on.

 

hmm thats aftermarket for ya. larger should help. ive ran the D3 for Years on multiple vehicles. i bet the 93-94 LC filters fit too.. (well not on a 5vz.. not enough room)

 

I thought you had your heart set on a 3rd Gen.

2013-2015 DC's are very nice though. If I crashed this truck, I'd probably get one of those.

No, sorry, i run WIX filters cause I can get them anywhere and they're some of the best filtering
