Cowboy as in cap and ball or cowboy as in movies.

Love those in the second pic. Something about a shoulder fired revolver that says DILLIGAF.

Japanese Winchester 1866 chambered in .38 Spl only. 7 lbs, shoots like a .22. This past year I had it out to NRA Whittington in New Mexico and got as far out as 180 yards on that swinging steel range that goes up the mountain. My kids bought it for my birthday. Love it.

Here’s my space cowboy Henry Big Boy X in 357 magnum. I’m eagerly awaiting for my Dead Air Wolfman to get paroled from jail around Christmas time to finish it up (there's already a tri lug mount waiting under that muzzle brake)

If they can make a 22 into a weapon of war because it looks scary. What do you think they will do with a large caliber black lever. Not everything needs to be tactical.

Very nice, I keep going back and fourth between the Deadair or the Silencer Co 46. Gonna have to make a decision this week.

Do you think that paracord will hold moisture and corrode your lever? Or is the lever NOT metal (a polymer maybe)?

The cord looks cool and it'd be nice to have it if ever needed; but sure would hate to see it damage the weapon just for cool looks.

I went wolfman because it’s widely regarded as one of the best sub gun cans and it’s gonna serve double duty between my lever gun and MP5. That’s why the Big Boy has a tri lug mount.

I also liked the options of full length and K configurations opposed to committing to the shorty with something like an Omega 9k. The dead air just fit my use case best.

The lever is steel but I’m not too worried about it rusting. People have been doing similar leather wraps for years with no issues and leather would hold a ton more moisture. I also am not trudging through swamps with it and dry my guns before putting them away after shooting in the rain (which we do a lot of here in the PNW).

The cord is mostly there for padding running the lever, I usually put 3-400 rounds through it in a typical range outing. Also the trick to make the wrap not super bulky is to pull the guts out of the paracord and just use the outer sheath. Makes it sit alot flatter.

I know, the S&W M25-5 isn't a cowboy gun, but both it and the Henry Big Boy are chambered in .45 Colt. I'm planning to look for a couple of Single Action Army revolvers, also in .45C.

    Nice!

I got a Henry Bigboy 357. I love it. So fun to shoot and like you I great to have it share ammo with my revolvers.

Had time over the weekend to finish up he build. Now it's just some fine tuning and fun.

In my excitement to finish this thing, I installed the ACRO backwards. o_O
