The Raptor is wide enough to need them thanks to the wide fiberglass fenders. Mirror widths don’t count but body width does. Vehicles over 80inches wide (not counting mirrors) need them. The normal F150 is built to be 79.9 wide so doesn’t need them. The 3rd gen Tacoma comes in at 75.2inches wide.

I made my own “raptor lights” using the same amber markers I’ve seen on many 4runners.

While it looks cool, I can’t help but feeling that I am a little punk wannabe in a Toyota. Especially when I drive past a raptor, and there a lot of Raptors out here.

Those are what I used, I am going to modify mine with a connector, the only issue I have with them so I can take off the grill easier.

The yotaleds are in the second row from the top, which to me just doesn't look right.

I saw that as well, wonder which one is accurate? I would prefer not to have to modify...

I've been in contact with them and there is modification required, depending on where you install them. Top row of the grille you have to trim the grille and black trim of the lights.
I'm getting a set and will be sure to post up a full review.

Keep us posted because that video is the lights in the top row and he specifically says no modification.

I’ve been in contact with them and Tuan was nice enough to send the link. It shows a great detailed installation of the options they offer, hope this helps!! I personally wouldn’t mind the 3 lights...something about the top row looks better to me.

Oh and one more thing, not to get off subject but does anyone what kind of rims he has in the video?

if these were a smoked amber lens they would look a lot better, but they seem pretty cool.
How much are these going for? ....."sold out" with no price info isn't too helpful.

And these will work off of the DRL's?
I thought that some other people were having issues because the DRL's have two output levels....they dim when the headlights turn on.

Made my own setup for under $25. Piece of aluminum, wire, fuse and 3 LEDs. More fun when you do it yourself in my opinion.

    Agreed!

About $75, iirc. They're making the kits as quickly as they can, but they sell out pretty fast. Refresh the page every few hours and they should show as available.
Multiple ways to run them, I'd recommend watching the above referenced instructional video.
