I finally started to organize the back seat. I used some scrap wood to hold my toolbox and sub in place and then mounted ammo cans to the bed rail for some of my recovery gear.

Has anyone else had their light bar relay melt? I've had it for about 6months and never had a problem. It was wired correctly.

Trace that wire. Either u used brown wrap or tge wire looks burndt as well. Look for chaffed wires.

You a intermittent short or a high resistance somewhere.
I'd look for a pinched wire first.

I use 50% purple power degreaser and 50% water mix. Spray let soak for a minute TURN THE TRUCK ON! and rinse with shower setting on hose, works like a charm:thumbsup:

    A thing or two...
Wouldn't it be better if the sub and toolbox were swapped? It would give easier access to the toolbox.

Just my $.02, but I think that the sub sharing the same platform with the toolbox would make everything in the toolbox that was meta-to-metal to vibrate like a son-of-a-bitch.

    - Washed and polished.
    - Installed a second GPS antenna (as a backup just in case other one fails)
    - Changed the RCA cable going to the amp for the rear door sspeakers-speakers
    - Rotated tires
    - Swapped the black Double DIN plate on the head unit with a silver one
    - Swapped silver Double DIN plate on the head unit back to the black one, once I realized it didn't fit, lol!

About to post the silver for free if you cover ship. It fits normal Double DIN, mine has add on modules, so it is too deep to fit.

Used it to grab a Christmas tree. Also dug around a bit in the disaster that is the headlight wiring and determined my best course of action is to just get a set of stock lights and all new wiring for them. Then I took an artsy photo out in the field at the orchard.https://imgur.com/a/6HI5I3A

It totally would have, but I put some rubber pads on the bottom of the toolbox, and the drawers are lined with a pretty thick drawer liner. Only thing that really rattles is the dome light

Only time I had that happen was when I didn't use a thick enough gauge power wire that had proper insulation or there was a Nick in the power wire somewhere causing a short.

Your culprit is shown in your first pic. Melted wire. Need to change it. Go with lower gauge wire (thicker wire) with better insulation. :)

The dome light rattles? Like the one that comes on when open The door or ones towards the front? If it's the ones to the front, I had that issue, when a cranked up the subs, it was the door for the sun glasses or whatever holder. I don't use it anyway, I jam packed it with crumpled up paper to where I had to force it closed. With the tension on it, no more rattle :) To kill rattle from the backt wall I filled the space between the back wall and bed with high density foam that they make prosthetic limbs out of :)
