We here apologize for Fernando for any current or future embarrassment. He’s special to us in a special way. However, TW is not associated in any way with Fernando or his hammer downs. Good luck and enjoy the sexy bastard.

I haven't done much (3 trips, but only managed 1 night each). Racetrack playa is really cool, but be prepared for the most horrid washboarding most of the way. On my way out from there I took the turn from tea kettle junction down hunter mountain road and through hunter pass to exit the park. It's a gorgeous drive. Might be weather restricted though. Also if the weather permits, Mahogany Flat or Thorndike campgrounds are cool. Up a pretty steep rough trail (but I still got up it in my stock sport with LSD) onto the saddle between the highest peaks in the park, and is practically looking down on badwater basin.

Pulled into Ridgecrest yesterday and said fuck it, and just kept heading south. We ended up down here in Anza Borrego. Having fun. Strangely ran into the Vagabond Crew in Borrego Springs. Currently camped at Fish Creek, watching the cosmos float by.

Thought the same thing. I'll have to settle for camping in the snow.

I LOVE snow camping. It’s my jam. But this trip is the annual #tegapalooza trip. I have no control over the itinerary. I just go where the “fuck it”’s tell me to go. I’m just the driver.

Every year it is my best friends birthday camping trip. He sets the schedule and the destination. We could be at our destination and a “fuck it” will send us into another state on some other trail...

Exploration is key. Getting lost is optional.

Sounds like every time I’ve gone down to Baja. This method makes excellent trips.
