Want to surprise the girl with a Christmas outside and a nice view, what are some good places on the east and west coast that make good views, hiking trips etc.

How do you surprise someone with camping? Are you planing to kidnap this girl? I would recommend against that. It’s not a good surprise.

Pretty much anywhere in the Rocky Mountains. But good luck getting to a lot of the spots, more then likely they will all be snowed in. That being said, I presume some of the ranges in the pnw and in Cali will be open?

Big Bend National Park is amazing and you don’t have to worry about snow. Hundreds of miles to hike out there too!

Zion/Yosemite are my favorite. Yosemite isn't super accessible trail wise in the winter because everything gets snowed/iced out, but you can still walk around the entire valley. Zion can get ice/snow, but it isn't as bad, and it's stunning when there's snow. Really anywhere in Southern Utah/Moab. Canyonlands is also a blast in the winter
