I’d be down for some carbon fenders.

 

I think a carbon fiber hood that is identical to the OEM Sport/Pro scooped hood would sell like crazy.
I'd definitely be onboard if there were something available... but it MUST look OEM. No ricer shit or stick-on scoops.

 

Half the scoop mold done. Will have some sample parts out later this week

 

Be nice to get rid if the flimsy oem one.

 

You can put me down for carbon fiber flares and Hood Scoop because I like rice

 

Now that I think about it, I'm interested in some fender flares. There's too much cement color on my sport model.

 

Yes I’m interested in the fender flares and the full carbon fiber hood. I think it will look sick on cement.

 

Starting with the small parts first to test the market for carbon. If the response is positive, I’ll move to the larger stuff (hood/fenders/etc)

First mold layed up.



This is the only carbon we had on hand, it’s your typical 2X2 twill. But I have some 1x1 coming and I think it will look a lot cleaner




Last, there are critical alignment tabs and mounting hardware on the bottom of the stock scoop. This would be too hard to mold into the carbon, so the stock mounting was copied and being 3D printed. It will be fused into the inner layer of resin for a solid mount

Top notch engineering as always. I want one but I only have an SR5 so no scoop. Hopefully a full hood will be in the works.

 

I’m not even pulling your chain I will PayPal you right now for a hood.

I’m looking at your methods here and it’s top notch, especially making the extra effort to attach properly shaped 3D printed tabs instead of awkwardly laying them up and calling it close enough.

And for what it’s worth I kinda dig the coarser carbon...
