    I lived in Alpharetta and drove to downtown Atlanta for 24 months in a MT S54 M coupe.

    These days I traded Atlanta traffic for the 2.5hours 405 Traffic in Los Angeles.

    Well that was a lot of complaining. There is a TSB fix for this issue. The TSB states it happens from a dead stop. Mine did this, however not while coasting especially anything over 20MPH. Try to recreate the issue on your own before taking it in so you know how to get it to act up and then to do something. As stated in multiple posts, don’t do anything that depends only on seconds. There are always multiple things that could go wrong, don’t let saving 1 minute of your time cost you more than you bargained for. If you don’t like the truck trade it in. You have added 33’s which will definitely bog down the truck. There are a lot of solutions, but complaining here ain’t one of them partner:hattip:

    I have a 2016 OR DC auto trans and had the same issues prior to the TSB. I noticed this same issue prior to the TSB...I noticed the stall really bad if I I was on the gas and let off and then quickly tried to get back on the gas. Even after the TSB if I am going 30 to 40 let off and get back on there is a bit of a stall in response. The TSB absolutely helps throttle response though.

    I had the exact same issue with my '18 Taco, almost soiled my briefs when it happened. I took it back to Toyota and they the did the latest transmission T-SB-62-18 which solved the problem.

    List of TSBs for 3rd Gen
    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/list-of-t-sbs-etc.562671/

    I also added the Pedal Commander which increases the throttle response which has greatly improved acceleration and more perceived power and it's like having a V8 engine now.

    Does the Pedal Commander improve gas mileage as claimed?

    My 4 banger does it as well. It's a serious safety issue.

    This ^^^^

    @Dragracer_Art
    I don't think it was gear hunting at all. I see that you have a 2 inch lift and 285s, if the VSC wasn't re calibrated afterwards, and it can be a sensitive piece of $h!t.

    I used to get this sometimes in my MT on hasty left turns and u-turns until I re calibrated that crap at the dealer.

    Please see post 75 for additional comment.

    And just to clarify, I don't think your tires spun before the Trac/VSC kicked in. It activated because of the yaw being out of range.

    I wonder if the 3rd gen owners bitchin here have had the TSB 0062-18 done to the their trucks. Mine did this a few times to me in almost 2 years of ownership, then when I had that TSB done the problem went away.

    Don't doubt you about the TSB. This was the one they performed on mine, no problems since:
