Short answer, I did not but........

I did not post anything in the TWSS Gift Received thread yet because I am under the suspicion there is no need to yet.

See it was revealed to me that the shirt was in fact, not from my TWSS! As it turned out it was from some even more special, and that happened to be A Rouge Elf!!!

Before I get into that I want to show you all some other gifts that arrived.

Yesterday I received a really cool center console tray.

    upload_2018-12-3_22-18-42.jpg

It's such a excellent gift and greatly appreciated but unfortunately it is for a 2nd Gen. Boo! However I already have one so I will play my good fortune forward and send this to the first 2nd Gen'r that needs it.

The other gift that arrived yesterday was for a 3rd Gen and no, I did not have this one. I receive the center console organizer!!!!!! Right now my shit is just strewn about in there and being OCD I cringe every time I open it up. Apparently this was made especially for people like me as shown in the product title.

    upload_2018-12-3_22-25-46.jpg

Neither of these had a note so based on recent events regarding gift #1 I am of the belief these are also from Rouge Elves!!!!!!

Tonight when I pulled the mail outta the box, guess what? No packages. Awww. But upon arriving up at the house there was a box at the garage. Undoubtedly another Rouge Elf has struck and this time, even though there is no note, I think I know who it is.

    upload_2018-12-3_22-31-18.jpg

This Rouge Elf I believe to be Skip has sent me those cool cup holder insert things, that help make our trucks look bad ass. Y'all are absolutely too much.

So now onto the T Shirt, and I want to say again, me being too dumb to figure it out required help. Here's the conversation that transpired.......

    "Good Morning Roberto!

I think I have crack this mystery buddy.

Not all gifts come from Santa. Sometimes they come from a rouge Elf"

    "Good Morning Jaime!!!!!!
I am so confused by all of this. The people on this forum, you especially are so wonderful! Y'all make my work days fly by and fun!!!!!

Now to just figure out who this said Rouge Elf is!"

    "I found the Rouge Elf!

    It was me Roberto.

Try not to hate me now lol Randy & Brian helped out with your address. The t-shirt just happened to fall right on my lap after Skip posted your TWSS post in The Lair. As for the mystery......well lets just say we were trying to hint you along but it didn't work.

Merry Xmas my friend! You deserve more than a t-shirt in my eyes! I hope you can accept that small token of friendship from your buddy at the border. *INSERT BRO HUG HERE*"

As if there would be any way to hate anyone for anything let alone this action!

So, the following is my response to our Dear Friend Jaime. Except now it also pertains to the rest of you guys because I know you all had a hand in this and the only way I could ever show you all at once how much it meant, and how much these other gifts mean, is to share with you what what I said to Jaime. Some guys would have a hard time expressing their gratitude in such a manner but trust me, there is no shame in telling friends how you truly feel about them. I have a understanding and life experiences in regard to how other cultures show and express their feelings and I knew Jaime would appreciate this honesty. I hope you all do to.

I think your actions capture exactly the point I was making in my Wish List post and that is this is the season where friendship and caring is more important than a bumper or a lift kit. At least to me.

    I told Jaime..........

    Jaime!!!!!!!!!!!!
You are just over the top Mi Hermano!!!!!!!
That is so very nice of you and I appreciate that so much!
This gift will be my most prized Tacoma possession!
The only thing more valuable is our friendship!
Accept it!? I will wear it with pride and will have to post a pic each time on the thread!!!

First, hate is not in my vocabulary except for certain things and this could never be one of them. I am not that type of person. I have so many riches in my life. I have a wonderful wife that loves and cherishes me. I have a great job that affords me some of the finer things in life. Finally but not least, I have you and the rest of my online friends from the forum. But I hope you know you fall into a special category. I've known from the beginning that you are special. That you have a kind and large heart. It's very evident. You're never negative and always have encouraging words for others. You're especially crazy funny that is wonderful quality! There is not enough happiness in this world and you my friend bring it all the time!

My wife and I were not blessed with children, but if I were to have a son, I would be so proud to have one like you.

El regalo más grande de la vida es la amistad, y yo lo he recibido!

    Your Hermano Forever,
    Roberto

Yes, a bit over the top for some, but I could barely summon the words of how I felt, and that was it. Like I have said so many times to so many people. This forum is filled with so many great people and I appreciate everything everyone has done for me. It could a remark that makes me laugh, out loud. Or a statement about something that makes me think harder than normal. Or just a kind word that reinforces what I constantly believe, that, this world is full of wonderful people, and all you need to do is open yourself up to them.

Again, I am proud to call any of you "friend", but I feel like I am the lucky one, in every sense.
    Rob

But all jokes aside, Rob...I think these small tokens show how much you are respected and liked.

    Happy holidays, my friend.

That tray also works for the 3rd gens Rob and you can put 2 in your center console and it sits right above the console organizer. I'm sorry but you are off on your assessment of me sending you those rubber tray mats. I am broke right now :(. Remember this :pout:I hand to scrounge for my TWSS and for the rest of my family for presents. But I'll gladly take the credit . In all seriousness though I can't take the credit for these gifts.

Well fuck Skip, I have never been off road in a Tacoma but I can see where you went wrong. Your hands need to be on the steering wheel to avoid water hazards Bro!

Aww damn!!! I thought for sure I had this one figured out! Shit!!! :frusty: I so suck at this! And great, I will try it out then!!!! Thanks!

Also, I'm sure you and your daughter having each other is much nicer than any material object. You're obviously great Dad and I'm sure she's a wonderful daughter.

    Pro Tip!!!!!!!

She's well taken care of material objects aren't anything but a thing. She definitely doesn't do without that is for sure! But you need to go trail riding with me and her she's a worse instigator than B. Hell she all but called me a bitch for not going through the mud hole in URE when someone else did and I wouldn't she's worse than the guys sometimes. Or tells me I'm driving too slow like tonight she wanted me to go 70 in a 35. When the next speed limit sign came up she said not again 35 daddy when is 70 going to come. Definitely a chip off the old block, I'm screwed :goingcrazy:
