I bought a rear bumper that came with a couple of LED pods built in. I wired them into my reverse lights but they cause a lot of glare when I back up.

Has anyone used amber/yellow film on their LEDs to help eliminate glare?
Would this be a bad idea for reverse lights?

Problem is whatever pods are installed are using the wrong optic, for reverse you’ll want a diffused pattern. Those almost look like spots pointed down, which will perform poorly. Yellow filters will cut down on the blue light, but ideally you need to change the pattern.
