    Thanks for the reply.

It's all good. Mounts work great. That makes sense with the galvanized vs SS hardware.

I'm trying to see how you have the fishing rods mounted. Is it a bracket you make?

haha. no those are the small quickfists screwed into the bottom of the bed bars, and some velcro straps. The quickfists can be attached to the mounts if you have a short pole or one that breaks down and you can mount them on the bed sides under a bed cover if needed though.

I need this in my life. Any closer pictures of how the hi-lift is mounted to the universal mount?

Sorry, its been a busy few weeks for me.

The hi-lift is attached with a 2" bolt. I used a couple nuts tightened together and a washer between them to create a "spacer" and add bit more clearance for the jack.

Hey guys! Been working on some corner mounts... I used these so far to take a lawn mower to a friends house since theirs crapped out on them. Also this past weekend I used them to hold down some steel i bought for the trailer. Worked pretty good but i wish i had my bed rail tabs for additional tie down points in the back... Didnt get any pics though.
Let me know if there is any interest...

Those look great! Do you know the approximate distance between the “front”/cab bed rail and the outside edge/corner along the bedside? Curious if this would clear the uprights for my bed rack.. it looks like mine is about where your bed bars are though so it’d probably fit

ill measure it and let you know. You want to know how much of a gap there is between the bed side and where the bed rail starts?
The 2 holes on the outside will probably be removed, and the larger holes will be adjusted to prevent you from seeing the mounting bolts

I may get a set to mount a Rotopax.

I found this post on your other thread. Posting here since you mentioned you check this one more frequently.

Are you still making the other mounts to mount it vertically? If you are, I’m not sure which to purchase. I’m curious if the weight of the Rotopax may be too much for the rail over time? Seems like mounting it vertically can keep to Rotopax seated on the bed instead of it hanging. Not sure if that made sense haha.

So the plan is to have the option to mount it where it rests on the floor but the mounts holds it in place. That way the weight is not sitting on the rails/mounts. Now i do not plan to pre cut holes for mounting the rotopax so you can set the height you want. Also it will depend on what size tank you bought...

If you buy a 4 gallon tank then you will need 2 mounts, and that will be plenty for the weight of 4 gallons of gas. I would imagine that a 2 gallon tank would be fine on 1 mount also, but personally i still want the tank resting on the floor.

As far as "an other set".... the other set is going to be specific for the side rails, currently i have a design that works for the head rails.

Is the price still $30 for the universal mounts? On your website they are listed for $35. Just curious. Interested.

These mounts work perfectly. I used some heavy duty Velcro at the bottom of the hi lift mount to reduce any vibration. Thanks @Zac of all trades!
