I just installed an Extang Encore hard tri-fold. I really like it. I like how it kept the stock cargo rails. Only down side is this tonneau has you remount the cargo rails about 2-3 inches lower.

I would love to get one of the toyota cargo dividers, but not sure my lowered cargo rails will be an issue. Anyone have one of the Cargo Dividers installed that can measure how much clearance is between the bottom of the divider and the truck bed? Photos look like maybe a 2 inch gap?

    Thanks

You’ll definitely need to mod the bed divider if you decide to use it with a tonneau that repositions the rails.

Dang! Well, thanks for measuring and the photo. Maybe there is a good alternate aftermarket solution out there to be had.

    I appreciate your time.

Is it too late to exchange your cover? I have the extang solid fold 2 and it uses the oem rails in their stock position. And I have plenty of clearance for the bed divider. But like akbar said, the Toyota divider won’t work with lowered rails.

@Odi412, I position my divider about 1.5 ft away from the cab for groceries and small tools. Will I have issues with the Solid Fold 2? I read that it doesn’t fold all the way to access items towards the cab.

I don't believe the solid fold is able to do this. This is one nice feature of the encore.....the part closest to the cab opens up to access that area of the bed.

And I can't return it.....I got it used off craigslist for a crazy good deal.

Not being able to use that divider is worth it in my book to have this cover.

Yeah pretty much the rear-most 20” wont be able to flip up for access behind the cab. I just put my divider about 1.5’ from the tailgate and that solves that problem. Plus having it closer to the tailgate makes is easier to remove when necessary.
I got mine off CL for $275 so I was willing to work around that minor detail:D
