MC love your truck looks incredible I’m getting ready to do the same thing I just got my fox coil overs for 6 in lift and was wondering did You just replace the front struts and spacer and leave it at the same level that it was that or did you go up in height at all and if you did go up in height did you encounter any problems with any of the Toyota features if you have any of them like traction control and ABS etc. you know if you have any of those did you have any problem at those getting those all ironed out when you had your alignment done

    "problems" is hard to define.
For what I use my truck for, no, I have no perceived issues. My alignment guys got me about 3* of caster on stock uppers. Would I like more? yes, but it tracks pretty well for what it is.

Question for you guys. I have a 2007 dclb trd sport 4x4 with SnugTop cap. Mostly used for/getting to hunting and camping grounds, no extreme crawling, so I avg about 3-4000 miles a year. Currently on fabtech basic 6” spacer lift, aftermarket bumper, warn vr10000s winch, and sliders. Tires- 295/75/17 stt pros. Front is sitting about 25” from center of hub to fender. The following parts will be installed and removing the spacer and trd spring/shock.
    1. Wheelers t1 springs (620lbs)
    2. Front- RCD extended 5100 Bilstein, rear- bilstein 5125 (using fabtech rear setup)
    3. SPC UCAs
    4. Wheelers 1/2” spacer (for full 6” lift, not sure if needed)

Anyone have similar setup? After install and alignment, what should my alignment specs be? Hope some of you guys don’t mind sharing your alignment printout/specs. Thanks in advance!

i am running the zone 6" mall crawler drop bracket kit (aka strut spacers and blocks). I don't hard core wheel and it has been great for 5 years now. I also upgraded the UCA to JBAoffroad's. I got to say the alignment issue I was having a problem with alignment and seems to ride a little better. My truck is almost paid off and will be upgrading the leaf pack to a custom one from Alcan and this Forum is full of great reviews from them and wanting to upgrade to remove the strut spacers. I just don't want to spend the $1400+ on Fox, Icon, King coil overs. Has anyone found any other options. I know rough country just came out with 6" lift shocks to eliminate the spacer but not a fan of rough country.

With stock springs will net ~4.5" lift. Find a 1-2" lift spring and you should be gold.

    ...
^ What 5678ta said. I ran the same shocks up front which is a good option to the more expensive coilovers.

How was the ride? Noticeable improvement over the spacer?

I’ll have a set of the Bilstein for sale soon with 620lb coils as I just got my Kings in. And I will include a .5” spacer to help level out. They only have about 250 miles on them.

This! I upgraded to Fox 2.5s up front around September 2018 then in November I also upgraded the rears to Fox 2.0s along with Alcan 4" lift springs. Worth every penny. I wish I would've done it when I first chose my RCD lift. The Bilstiens from my RCD lift were fairly good. I added 620lbs spring later, but if you plan on adding armour, just bite the bullet and buy Fox. I purchased all my Fox suspension through AccuTune. They were even revalved them for me.

The ride was good with the bilstiens. I never had heavy bumpers installed so for my usage was very happy. I ran the stock coils on mine with a 1/2 spacer on both sides along with the 1/4 on the driver side to compensate for the taco lean.
To be honest what made my truck ride better was going with a different sway bar bracket in the front. I personally don't think the swaybar lowering brackets in the db kits bring the swaybar down low enough . Only db kit I have seen which brings it down low enough is the Fabtech kit. Here is the link to where you can see what I used. Some people even take theirs off which is up to you.
