they said I already had it done. Waited an hour for nothing. He pulled it up and said that my truck already had the “drivability package” done. Truck is a 2018 that I purchased on October 5th. I was hoping it hadn’t been done as the shifting is just “okay” in my opinion. It’s livable, but was hoping there was going to be a TSB available to improve it. Anyone else found this to be true when they went in for TSB?

Were you able to have them print off a calibration page? If not, maybe ask them for it so you can compare the calibration IDs?

I am not sure why, but them using the verbage “drivability package” is hilarious. Don’t we all have the drivability package equipped?

    all tore up already
You went in with a complaint or just requested a bulletin? Bulletins are to help tech repair customers complaint. Without a complaint they dont have an issue to correct and send to toyota for warranty payment.

Mine is also a 2018, purchased end of October.

Ask your dealer specifically what was done.

I just had mine updated today after telling the service advisor the TSB number that specifically addresses my complaint.

I was in and out in an hour and the truck drives much better.

I didn’t get the exact number, but yes I complained of erratic shifting and the shudder around 40-50 mph. They hooked it up to the computer and they said it was running the most up to date software/firmware.
Then he showed me the printout that said the “drivability package” had been performed before delivery. This dealer may be one of the more proactive dealers. I can call them and see which version I’m running but I do believe they hooked it up and checked. This just makes me wonder how bad the older version is if I have the updated version.
