I like everything to be clean and out of sight as much as possible. A small hole for the wire doesn't bother me too much. And I kinda wanted to keep the blanks there for possible future switches, so this was the next best option

The black wire running up the dash in pic #3 is my ScanGauge which is a different project, so ignore that :D
The grey one in the last pic is the 16/3 that powers my radios. That got tied up with the ziptie you can see hanging out down there. Other than that it pretty much looks the way it does now. Need to find a 12v adapter that just has a USB port in it rather than a cord too. I promise it's cleaner in person haha

Got my new super HD dakars on. If you look closely at the rear passenger side leaf hanger, it’s bent as fuck. This made for some interesting removal and reinstallation, but it’s all on!! Rides MUCH better in the rear now that the leaf pack is better paired with the weight.

Added a little flare to the Prinsu.. just wedged a thin piece of plastic from a Mothers bottle behind it. Nice, snug fit. I like it.. hope it stays put..20181205_172825.jpg 20181205_172809.jpg

Well it’s been “what have you done to your 2nd gen month for me”

Always wanted a Tacoma so I traded in my Subaru WRX for a 2011 Tacoma Trd double cab long bed in the so badass magnetic grey metallic a couple months ago..... then found this forum. The rest is history.

    The day I bought her.

Found some 3rd gen wheels and tires for cheap. Love these wheels on the 2nd gens.

Alpine head unit along with getta grip shifter, weather tech floor mats and front window tint to match the rear.C6CF8E34-2B78-4DE4-AB75-D362C5D1A7EC.jpg

Had to get an ultra gauge! My stock head lights were way past restoring so I went with the spyder led tube headlights. They have been great so far. Zero leaking or condensation and I live in the PNW. Only recommendation I would have is changing out all the bulbs from the ones that come with the headlamps. They are garbage. Also went ahead and changed out the interior lights to leds
    B1CE7666-7FEC-408A-9F3C-39AA08B0EF47.jpg
Suspension time! Had so much fun installing this kit. Headstrong did a great job putting this package together for me. Bilstein 5100 front and rear along with HS coils and 1/4 driver side top spacer. Dakar medium duty rear leafs. All new bushings, extended rear brake lines. Ended up going with the freedom Offroad UCA’s. So much bang for your buck and more than I would ever need from a UCA. Would really recommend these to anyone on a budget.... only question is who is the engineer that lined up that UCA bolt!? What a pain in the ass!C6A99559-9788-4664-ADE3-2F0B26EF15C8.jpg3E55E780-0BD1-4582-A13D-48081A9F2DDE.jpg AEAB7C8D-4DBB-4961-823F-3F7D96634ACB.jpg6B108E07-3308-49BE-9AC4-2D5C0E4B6145.jpg
And here she is as she sits today. 265/75/16 BFG KO2’s with 1.5 inch wheel spacers front and rear. I really don’t want to give up the stock wheels but really like the SCS wheels and would like to get rid of the spacers. Also went with the husky fenders.

As for maintenance this forum has been so valuable. Everything I’ve done I’ve found here. Oil and filter change. Air filter and cabin filter. Front diff, rear diff, transfer case fluids. Greaseing zerks on drive shaft. Serpentine belt, spark plugs. Mass air flow and throttle body cleaning. Just haven’t had the balls yet to tackle the transmission flush.

But for real, thank you all! You are much appreciated
