I received mine today, pretty happy with it. LED strip is as bright as the oem one. Fitment is perfect as well. Took me 40 minutes. I opted for the extra $20 so I didnt have to cut into my oem harness for the LED strip.

Did you put an overlay over the side markers?

Maybe it’s just me, but yours look darker? Almost like a smoke color side marker. Do you have a pic from the side at all?

There is an overlay, it has TRD on it.

Here are comparison pictures of the rear. The injection molding seems nearly identical, the only thing that seems different is the glue they used. You can see in the picture that there is white residue from where they glued the housing and the lens together. I've had them on for some time now and there is no water inside. They also came with bulbs. In the last two pictures, you can see little white covers on the depo lights, they are cheap caps. I swapped them out with the OEM rubber caps that seal better.

And the front! Front didn't have the glue problem, they look really good. The LED strip is a little brighter than stock. Like the rear, i swapped out the plastic caps (headlights had black caps) for the OEM rubber ones. These were the ones that have the DRL connector, so they were plug and play. I ordered through Unique Style Racing, they came in about 2 days which was surprising for how big the box was. I also live in Southern California.

Installed my Depos over the weekend. I may retro my OEM headlights in the near future but for now im definitely happy with the Depos quality.

I have a question. I have a TRDoffroad w/factory DRL and interested in these Depo headlights. I understand now they make a plug and play version for the DRL, but for those that have the same truck w/factory DRL, do these uniys still come with the resister pack? Can someone take photos for me of the versions with plug and play DRL? I don’t like the extra resistor board.

By the way I have a set of OEM headlights in excellent condition that I’m willing to part with for the right offer if I make the purchase on theses. I purchased these OEMs with the hopes of doing a BLHM and I’ve decided against it.

    Thanks

If you have a TRD model or existing DRLs you do not need anything special just take out old headlights and bolt in new ones, thats it. The extra board is for SR and SR5s if they want to have their DRLs work on their new Depos.

Does anyone mind sharing their experiences with these headlights? For the price I would have thought these would take off and this thread would be much more active. In particular I’m interesting in overall quality and more importantly any issues with DRL or moisture. Thanks
