Ya gotta get limbered up for the action to follow. If you didn't, she'd smack you on the head and tell you to get down there to do it again.

Eastern medicine is great. I just don't like walking down the street swinging my arms in big circles to stave off boredom.

I actually don’t know anything about eastern medicine, and also think the circle thing is awesome

In my 2009 Corolla XRS, around -30, I could take my foot off the clutch pedal and just watch it slowly rise up, it was really quite something. My Lexus isn't nearly as bad. The clutch pedal and master cylinder in the Tacoma has been the same since 2014'ish (there were several updates over the years), it wasn't new for the 2016+ models.

That said, the clutch itself is obviously different on the 3.5L setup vs. the 4.0L, I'm not sure on the return force on the release bearing, it may be lower for the 3.5L if this wasn't prevalent on 4.0L models.

I have the same thing with my 2nd gen.
At -40C (-40F) it's nearly impossible to push in. I have to press and release at least 15 times before it gets easier, then I can drive.
