They are BNIB, but I am not thinking about trying to get anything nuts for them. I was thinking like $350. If someone can get some use out of them, that $350 in my pocket to curb some of the cost of the billet arms I bought.

Thanks buddy. Yeah, not looking to profit on anything. Just recoup some of my expenses. I have another project to work on at the moment, so I thought I could put this stuff to good use and offset some costs.

Poor etiquette for not posting dibs.:duel:

No worries man. Actually since I’m not going to need the clearance for the amount of lift I am planning, I wonder if the stock ball joint could survive tacking on some gussets to a stock UCA...

    Donations to science?

If that's all you're wanting you will sell super fast by just posting what you want out of them especially if you're selling everything that cheap!

Yeah, the truth is, I would just rather see this stuff get used than try to hold out for some astronomical price. It's the holidays, I know everyone is strapped for cash and still might want some stuff. So if it works out, it works out. Plus, I honestly wouldn't know how to price something like the suspension. I had an offer which didn't work out, so no big deal. Hopefully they sell. I have motorcycle stuff happening.

Wait you are lifting your truck? Why.

Why do you want to put gussets on a stock uca? When you hit a curb the first thing to explode will be the ball joint anways. I’d actually pay to see you try to mob hard enough to bend a stock UCA lol, or anyone for that matter.

My truck is already lifted; when you put springs meant for a V6 with transfer case under a front end lacking both, turns out your static ride height goes up more significantly than you expected.
(1.5" or so with a quarter inch spacer)
Then in the back there's the Archive shackle mounts which change the geometry slightly and with stock shackles give you about .5"...

I guess I could lower it, but then you're talking about drop shackles in the rear and swapping out for shorter springs. I think I'm already looking at slacking out most of the preload on any serious coilover like King, ADS, Fox, etc. anyways to keep height as is.

Anyways on the UCA's... I know they don't need to be as strong as the LCA's but to me the stock UCAs don’t look like they inspire a lot of confidence, the only part that's fully tubular is the first half inch off the bushing.

But you have a good point, if your average joe TW hasn't managed to pretzel his UCA's I guess they are strong enough.

I guess with many things in life, it's the bottom that takes the pounding.:rofl:
