    Your car was only 3500lbs with 140hp but did have 285lb/ft torque so it wasn't totally wimp. Maybe tall highway gears.

    Not mine but it did look like this. 1970 Ford Maverik with the 200ci straight six. Dad towed it home and said it didn't run. I use the autoshop in highschool to rebuild the head and carburator. My sister ran it head on into a big tree in 1981 and totaled it. I wish I had it today as a project car.

    Not mine, but same model and color. Had it in college. Too much fun. It held all the climbing and fishing gear plus the occasional keg.

    TX took away my great uncles license, I think he hit every pole between his house and church, it was BEAT on the outside but with 20K miles it drove great. (Don’t have pics from 1972)

    Wow that looks a lot like mine. I didn’t have the cowl induction hood or spoiler, but I did have the Crager SS wheels.
