I agree man the ZR2 is huge competition, I have read many many reviews choosing the Pro over it though. It's also brand new so I can understand why there arnt any aftermarket roofracks that fit with the DAI yet. That being said after having a DAI and now putting on the ARB I have to say everything about the ARB over shadows the DAI if anything they should just shorten it. I actually used heavy duty auto tape to mount the ARB to my A-Frame so I didnt have to drill into it. Now if I ever want to or need to remove it I wont have the holes to worrie about.

 

So I thought about that but that's how the majority of the snorkels mount. I however didnt want to drill into my A-Frame so I used heavy duty 3M like auto tape to mount it that way if I ever wanted to or needes remove it I could with out working about leaving holes behind.

 

Haha those have got me through the majority of my Marine Corps career!

 

So I had to cut out a little bit of the intake hole because the ARB's was a bit more forward but it wasnt much if that makes since. The rest of the exposed old intake hole I covered with a special tape. As for the old holes I used the same tape to cover them and then drilled the new holes. None of the old holes and new holes over lapped and everything was completely covered by the ARB, It was pretty down and dirty..

Well they have to deal with visibility also, the DAI could block your view if they didn’t tuck it high and tight to the body. Yes they probably also didn’t want to have holes in the a pillar for leakage issues down the road. Also they have to worry about crash ratings with that thing hanging off the fender, it seems crazy to think it would affect a crash but they have to CYA or risk being liable in an accident.

Hey guys so i finally got my Prinsu Cabrac it was a super easy install and pain free. I decided to bolt my pelican 1700 and 1450 to the drivers side and plan to do the same to the passenger side then put a pair of tred recovery boards in the center. To mount the pelican cases I simply used 1/4 carriage bolts with washer on the out side and inside. If you have any questions feel free to ask amd check out my Instagram YotaOverlandandSurvival

Haha no I put them to good use, my rifles or supplies for camping in the long gun and m4 cases and recovery equipment in the orange pelican.

 

Finally have all the lighting done and got the low pro on as well.

 

Really liking the front bumper! How was the install? Pretty straight forward? Quality?

Have you thought about sliders?

 

The bumper was easy I just followed one of the YouTube how to's. I love the quality and would love to get a full overland bumper eventually. I plan on getting sliders forsure, I will prob get them from either cbi or cali raised.

 

Any interference from the mini hoop on your bumper with TSS sensor?

 

Not really, every once in a while it goes haywire but it's not often
