So my goals, Hobbies and recreation will help guide me through my build. Also aesthetics and functionality are important. I live in Massachusetts. I like hiking, skiing, running, mountain biking, road cycling, kayaking....outdoor activities. So my first mod has to due with getting me where I need to get to a bit more safely.
I chose to start with wheels. This appears to be a common wheel choice on Tacoma world and I too approve. So first mod: 4Runner TRD Pro wheels with BF Goodrich K02 all terrains 265/70 17 C rated.

I went this size because it’s only 1” taller than factory. Didn’t want to mess with the IMO nice PRO suspension. Ride is slightly louder but neglelible. C rated tire over the E rated due to less weight, I’m not towing, and most likey not going to due serious rock crawling.

Overall, I think it looks so much better and feel that it should have been this way from factory.

    Already ordered:
LED interior bulbs, Headlights, license plate lights (why are they not LEDs stock! Why?)
TRD air intake not the snorkel (not sure if any benefit but got a good price)
    ARB breather relocation kit

Must admit I was torn between K02s, Ridge grapplers and Wrangler MTRs

Seemed K02s were a safer choice for NE winter snow??

You are nailing it harder than Woody Allen nails teenage girls.

    After thought

    Much nicer ambience and lighting.
Map light was a mother. You need small fingers and lots of patience. The tape trick posted on line was a must to remove factory bulbs.

Pictures make it tough to discern.
These were a bit tough. Had to use a small pry bar and/or large screw driver to squeeze housing tabs to work them out. Then bulb swap is easy. On YouTube some guy did it with housing in place. He must have fingers from Superman!
