What's the consensus on a LED bulb?

The've been in there about 1 year and about 12K miles and not a bit of problems. I also put the white version of those in the license plate light and 3rd brake light and they are waaaay brighter than the incandescent bulbs. I only have 1 license plate light since the trailer light connector has been installed in the other side, and that 1 light lights it up very well. I tried 1 in the map light and it was too bright for inside the truck.

I originally bought the Diode Dynamics amber 194 LEDs for the front and I was severely disappointed with the brightness.

Those are for the front corner/sidemarker lights. Those don't flash on the '06.
