Just stopped by the local shop to get my fluid film treatment. The guy called me out before doing the application to show me that there is a power steering leak at the pump. Whole area underneath is wet with power steering fluid/oil or whatever it is. We held off on doing the fluid film so that Toyota can see the leak, otherwise everything would be wet. So here I am at the Toyota dealer waiting for their diagnosis. It’s the first issue I’ve had with the truck but only 13k miles so far. It better be a warranty issue.

It sure is...the warranty is a performance contract between you and Toyota. Dealer gives any shit tell them you didn’t receive the benefit of your bargain the very contract thought to raise and limit your actions.
