@Norsemanvike As others have said, very sorry for your loss.

 

Doesnt bother me. Even though it has very low camo ability, it is a hunter. As long as it keeps the mice out of the property, it is welcome here.
And it really dislikes the blue harness, it has shredded the edges and is pretty close to tearing a seam that would cause it to fall off.

So sorry to hear about you loosing your baby girl. Sounds like a great resting place and the rest of her will live on in your memories no matter where your at. Her name is very fitting then and now and she will be looking down on you and whenever life decides to screw with you just think of her and that’ll make you whole again. At least it works for me. Condolences to your family as well!!!

Yup, I have full on conversations with our Maine Coons. About what, I have no clue. When I'm conversing in human as they complain about me helping their grooming, we debate about what constitutes animal abuse, constitutional rights for cats to accept or deny said grooming assistance, ect. My wife cracks up almost every time.

I used to belong to a Facebook group called "Meowing Back At Cats When They Meow"

Back then, when you looked up a person's profile it would tell you 'So and So' lives xxxxx and likes xxxxx'

So for a short while, to a stranger my profile description was "Ryan lives in Los Angeles and likes meowing back at cats when they meow" Made me sound...special

 

Our cats hate it when we go away for a few days or even overnight. When the suitcases come out they know what's coming, get nervous, pace about and yowl.

Our last trip, when we were going to get ready, put the suitcases in the spare bedroom as the cats were on our bed. We figured it would spare them some anxiety. Wrong. I walked into the spare room with some more stuff to pack and saw this. That's Georgie letting us know we ain't going without him.

 

My wife's cat will make a nest out of the clothes in my gym bag when I leave it on our bed. Unfortunately he'll occasionally decide to pee in it as well

 

He's just letting you know who the alpha is.
