Ya, I sold the winter tire/rims that came with my truck, bought the Duratrac's. Also sold the crappy OEM Wrangler Kevlar's that came with the truck.

 

Good tires for the snow that you get in your area, the lake effect we get on tug hill in N.Y. is not the same as mountain snow. But common sense comes first. Then balance whatever cab configuration you have. I have an acces cab usually a leer fiberglass cap and a couple hunderd lbs of tools but i have a couple sand bags if im unloaded. And a little more common sense never hurts, have a few supplies you may need if something does go bad.

drop my AT to snow tires and stock rims. Snow brush (strong one they keep breaking) and change my fogs to yellow to reduce glare in the snow. I will take a pic of her tonight.

Have it done at Krown every year for about $150. That pic is from when my truck was new so it was still pretty clean underneath.
