Doesn’t the phone and other thing obstruct your view a little too much?

Not at all. The only thing they obstruct is my view of the hood. Don't obscure anything above the profile of the vehicle.
ETA: The pic is taken from about shoulder/chest height. I can barely get a hand between the top of my head and the roof of the cab. My field of view is right over those. The rearview is actually a bigger obstruction than those.
And the other thing is an old iPad Mini 2. As a DD I run Gaia GPS on my iPhone and OBD Fusion on the iPad with those gauges (intake temp, coolant temp, oil and trans temp, fuel rate, and fuel state). Offroad I use a Garmin GLONASS to feed info to Gaia on the iPad.

I saw a 4 channel on Youtube but don't remember who made it. The 2 side cams were made to mount outside of the vehicle (inside the wheel well, I think but don't quate me on that). The could be mounted anywhere though.

I had just purchase the Rexing V1 with hard wire kit and awaiting Shapeways GoPro mount. I gather you are drawing power from the fuse box under the driver dash. (Sorry, I haven’t had a chance to look at the fuse box) What fuse are you drawing power from or can you please post picture of your power connection? – Thanks!

Hope I can get some assistance. I had installed a Rexing V1, GPS logger using the Rexing hardwire kit. I had connected power to fuse "HAZ" (15A) and is a constant power.
    Is this GOOD or BAD???
Not sure which fuse I should draw power from.

@DVS1 got the basic gist. I might have tapped a different fuse, I honestly don't remember. It was a fairly low power fuse that powers on with ignition.

Installed the NextBase 522 dash cam and hardwired it. Decided that I didn't want to use the parking feature so I didn't need the constant power. Plus, living in Texas is hard enough on my battery. Tapped the 15 amp cigarette lighter fuse, (top left, third down... color blue) and got one of those Meso Customs fuse covers. It does a great job of allowing you to add a fuse and still have a cover while keeping the wires nice and neat. And yes, I am a dummy. I put the fuse cover sticker on upside down o_O

It was a pretty simple install. Dash cam powers on when I turn on the engine just like I wanted. The picture quality and audio is pretty good with the NextBase.

Been wanting to get a dash cam for a little while and came across this one last night. It's got some great reviews and it's priced pretty well at only $99. Anyone tried this?
