For anyone looking for LED indicators that don't need resistors, here's what I have that works:

The brand new 2019 model with NO hyper-flash / no errors 7443 rear brake/tail are ready to go - it was the last piece of the puzzle - these DO NOT have any resistors or coding required - it is a true bulb you just plug into your car:
    http://deautokey.com/product/universal-brake-tail-leds-fits-all-car-models

And these are even brighter than the models that require resistors with a good amount of contrast which is most important for safety :)

And the 7440 front turns as always bright/no errors:
    http://deautokey.com/product/universal-front-turn-signal-leds-fits-all-car-models

But I'm not trying to take over the thread or anything - only letting you know of a truly plug and play error free option that just launched 2 days ago!

We know many have found my posts helpful and the team had emails directed from this thread and why I post. I feel if I can help someone find something better it is worth popping in the thread. Thank you!

Don't forget: "TACO15" for the forum - it does expire soon but will run it for a few weeks for anyone reading this post late. :)

@RogueTacoma thank you a lot for your posts. They are great. I am going to get them to the team to share/tag!

Oh yes. In development. And MAYBE a switchback model white/yellow - the impossible might be done and updates will be hopefully by the end of the week. I will keep this thread update also - I know I over-posted and I APOLOGIZE. I will only post with updates now. And truly sorry TW peeps - it is a sincere apology. Thanks

Can you post a pic of the led bulbs? Their website never shows the bulbs.

One reason I would not buy deautoled's bulbs, post #3762 https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/led-lighting-conversion.436865/page-189

It is "TACO15" - you have to hit the little + sign at checkout to activate it.

    Thanks

Hoping to get a couple things clarified for me before I can continue.

I haven’t replaced any exterior lights with led except the tag lights and reverse lights. I just installed leds for the front turn signals- the Morimoto xb amber 7440. I also got the hd resistors when I ordered (but honestly didn’t think I’d have to use them until I started changing the rears also) needless to say I do get hyper flashing on turn signal indicator but not on hazards.

So my questions are on adding the resistors I got when I purchased the Morimotos.
    1. Do I have to install the resistors on the front signals specifically or can I attach them to the rears? I think/assume I’d have better options to mount the resistors behind the taillights rather than up front.
    2. Also is there any reason why the hd “Morimoto “ resistors wont be the proper ones to use in my case?

Initial thoughts are ok on the leds. I like the design of the bulbs. I like the pure amber color, it doesn’t seem as bright as stock but could be it doesn’t have that same hotspot effect as the stock lights (in the center) versus just a pure amber with these.

    Thank you for your help

Man! Idk if I can help in this case. I would probably add the resistors to the rear first and see what happens, but you may need them in both areas. I'm honestly not sure. I have after market LED tail light housing and I have deAutoLED front turn signals. I guess my recommendation would be to get deautdeAu for front and rear and not have to worry about resistors at all

Just for clarification I didn’t change the rear lights at all just the front but thought/assumed it was in the same circuit it wouldn’t matter if I attached them to the front or rear… thinking attaching in the rear would be cleaner/hidden

I have seen that alot of guys have mentioned when replacing the front they had no hyper flash, but when they replaced the rear also then they got hyoerflash. deAutoLED doesn't get hyperflash at all and doesn't require resistors.

So the front turn signals installed along with the rear LEDs won't hyperflash?

That’s what I was expecting since I didn’t change the rears but ordered them just in case

Is my logic right though that in theory putting the resistors in the rear (for the front leds) will/should work just the same?

I’m honestly not interested in deauto bulbs because I’d also like to see what I’m buying and not just output shots on the site. I was pleased aesthetically with the Morimoto bulb and well brand name- figured these would match up best in amber color as my Morimoto xb amber fogs
