It's amazing.. though I will throw it under the broiler or something next time to crisp up the bacon more next time. I was trying to keep the bacon weave "rollable" ... needed to be crispy but it totally amazing

Ebi (x2), Unagi, Spicy Tuna Hand Roll, California Roll and the kicker is the fresh Wasabi. It makes a difference!

I was in a ebi type of mood. Couldn’t wait for the fried shrimp for the photo lol. One thing I love about my local sushi place is that they offer fresh wasabi. Really makes a difference.

Local Sushi place has a "Endless Sushi & Hibachi" (All you can Eat) special. Only $25 for Dinner or $15 for Lunch (limited menu for lunch) and you can stuff yourself (Or be civil and just enjoy enough but not stuff yourself).
I don't know if it is the best sushi in the world because I have never had the best sushi in the world, but it is the best sushi and sashimi I have had and I have tried many different places.

What is this be civil thing you speak of. All you can eat is to be taken as a challenge right?

My 15 year old nephew was with us the last time. He tried to keep up with my 19 year old son. He was so close to puking from being over stuffed, that I had to send him to the restroom until he felt better. I did not want him to puke at the table, and I could see it was very close to happening.

Quick dinner at home last night. Some ahi and 3 scallops (spendy bastages at $3 each!). I did a quick pan sear on the scallops for maybe 30 seconds per side. I'll get the pan hotter next time to get more color on them but they were very tasty. Tossed a bit of butter & some pepper flakes in the pan after I pulled them for a light sauce. Tasty!

Not all sushi/raw but whipped this up last night. Ahi poke, blackened salmon & some scallops sauteed in butter/garlic. Quite tasty
