I just clamped those unto the rails too. Not sure what use it will be when the rails detach and the thing goes flying :p.

I had mine folded up but un-clipped in the garage last night so I could finish unloading from boating all weekend. I cant fold it in my garage because I've got bikes hanging from the ceiling over the bed of the truck. Anyway, I told myself I was going to pull out and fold it up before i left. Turns our you can run 50 mph for about 4 miles without it unfolding its self. I folded it down after I dropped the kids at daycare. hahahaha

New member, and hello to all. Joined after reading these treads on the Tyger fold ups (just bought the truck) and after looking at the various photos I wanna ask if the back of the cover at the tailgate curves up and looks a bit higher as it appears in the pics?. Thanks for any input.

It did at first, but as the vinyl has stretched it lays flatter now. Ill take a picture this weekend sometime and post it. I am about 9 months in on mine, its well worth the open box price i paid for it.

How is the weather stripping? Does it stay dry?

Coming up on 1 year with this product and love it! Very little water entry mainly from bulk head corners on the bed. Not enough water to prevent me from storing items in a rain storm. I have the Tacoma rubber mat so the little water that does get in runs under the mat and keeps items bone dry. Couldn’t recommend this product more. Very simple removal if the bed is ever needed in its entirety.

The weather stripping has held up great for the first 6 months.

Man that looks nice. Was wanting to buy a soft fold Tyger but my Honda warranty check was not as much as I hoped. Did get rid of the steel wheels this week and got some alloys on.

Got mine about a month ago for my 2019 TRD Sport (6ft bed). Fits perfectly (I didn't need or use the weather striping). Looks good and functions fine. So far it is holding up nicely to our minus 20 degree Celsius weather with snow and ice. We'll see how she is this time next year! Says it has a 5 year warranty so if it needs to be replaced after that time, I have no problems since the price was pretty good and I can handle replacing this thing every 5 years.

Here are some pictures after owning it a year. Also a picture of the raised rear section you asked for. Only issue I have noticed is the cover is not quite as taunt as is was at first. Not sagging, but there are a few ripples in the vinyl. Still sheds water if left out in the rain.

Washed Betty this morning and just put a fresh coat of 303 on the Tonneau. Just like new!50DE5C5E-D816-492B-AF41-FCE168D4D9F5.jpgB62E294D-8F8A-499A-BADD-A455BFE45F39.jpg69104CB1-6D22-4779-BD6D-25670977E109.jpg305235F0-F78B-42A2-A401-8027762779AE.jpg

I’ve had this cover for about a month. Love it. Easy to install and use. But how on earth does one remove it? When I loosen the front clamp cranks the clamps stay in place, almost as tight as when they were compressed. Ideas on how to release them?

Its just in a bind. The clip part should pop loose and sit down on the black screw handle. Mine sticks like this from time to time. I think its from over tightening it.
