I Buying a Leitner rack tomorrow!!! I’m going to use the rack for work and play. I’m curious to see how it holds up to abuse. Also buying an Alu Cab RTT to put on top.

This was one of the things I needed to / wanted to consider. I like the lower profile on the RTT - although I'm not sure if I can get / mount an awning as easily since it's not a little higher and I want to (for now) avoid a roof top rack. That being said - I'm really happy so far with our Relentless Fabrication rack! I put a Tepui tent on it and found there's definitely several ways you can mount it / configure it based on which way you want to open the tent.

It does have a bajillion bolts to assemble so if you want something that can pop on / off really easy and collapse keep that in mind. I think I'll probably just leave the rack on regardless of what gear I add/remove from it as needed. Super functional - and (to me) also looks super sick!

I missed your pricing for the front bumper on your website?

Also, where are you located and how do you handle shipping?

CBI does indeed have a great bed rack. I ran for a while before switching out to a Alucab Canopy. Both do different things. I like each for their own advantages. However I switched up for the ability to lock gear up in the back, and because it’s water proof now. (So I can built my own bed draws).

**not my truck, but same set up, this kind of shows what it is/does.

Sorry to quote a 8 month old post, but I have been really looking into the Leitner Designs bed rack as I have a motorcycle that I want to still be able to put in my bed, so it is between the Leitner and the Wilco ADV SL Bed rack as they are the only 2 I can find with the sliding top rail. My question is what is the inside distance between the 2 gear boxes you have towards your cab? I was thinking I would put those gear boxes in the same spot but I'm afraid that there would not be enough space between them for my handle bars to fit from my FZ-10. Do you have a measurement of that distance between them? I would really appreciate it.

Ah darn. I was afraid of that. Haha What made you sell it? Something with the rack itself or it just didn't meet your needs? What direction did you end up going if you don't mind me asking?

Well, it's good to hear that you didn't sell them because they sucked. Haha Thanks for the info. I remember in your post you said that you didn't like how high the tent sat. It's a shame I wasn't in the market for them when you were selling them. Oh well. Thanks again.

We are huge advocates for the Leitner ACS Bed Rack. We also work closely with CBI and RCI offroad (Both which also make an excellent product). I don't have an application on a Tacoma out here right now to get you the measurement, however I'll call Bernhard tomorrow and see what we can find out for you. I'm sure if you've done you're research you've noticed how versatile the rack is and another great thing is they typically ship same day, rather than having to wait weeks on weeks to receive your product. Something else to note is that Leitner actually just approved us to run a sale for the month of February (and possibly until the end of March) where all racks and accessories are an extra 5% off. Combine that with our free shipping and you'll save some $$.
