Thanks for posting this video. The option with the 3 lights at the very top definitely looks the best. If the 3 lights could pop into the top without modification these things would fly off the shelves. But I’m reluctant to cut into my grille like that to make the lights fit. I’m not a big fan of the lower positions or the 4 light option. Looks best with 3 at the top for sure.

    Couldn't agree more...
however I've already cut into the lower-middle cutout in order to make it match the rest of the grille, so I'm a bit less reluctant.

So if someone doesn't have a fancy fuse dongle that attaches straight into the box, how should i connect some LEDs i got,
Did you just get a 10amp fuse and wire to it? I also got some LEDs but don't wanna wire it the wrong way.

I feel I should be a bit more reluctant into cutting into the grill. But unless you have plans of removing them later or should they not function then it could be an issue. Either way, I ordered them and I will post the after pic and if any issues came up...I will more than likely go with the top row option.

Nice. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts on the install and the quality of the lights once you have it all hooked up. I'm very close to buying these. The install videos are very helpful but want to get a review from actual customers before committing.

I'm just going to add to my toolbox and buy a file and mini-saw like he used in the install vid. Looks like that's the path of least (and safest) resistance.

Same here, gotta make a stop to get a file and the mini saw. I have a Dremel...but a little worried I might too much or even worse and slip!

Lights come in today so I will be installing this weekend!

Install video is comprehensive, so I won't repeat everything they worked to put together. I'll summarize and offer some tips.

Get the 10 piece file set, it's definitely easier and more useful than the mini saw (which I'll be returning).

Use painters tape so you don't grind other things while filing.

    Filing the grille openings.

    Inserted

Notice where the shroud was filed on the sides and top.

Then this happened while closing the fuse cover. I've already spoken with them about an alternate route to run the wiring. Right now you just probably shouldn't completely snap shut the fuse cover in one of the corners.

Once I replaced the butt connector and recrimped I was back in business.

    Done. More pics to follow.

Edit: They're going to tinker some with the wiring route, but are thinking that running it through the bottom of the fuse box alongside the other wires might be a tidy and viable option.

There was a modding thread I was watching a while ago where people would install folding tow mirrors on their Taco. The Dodge forums noticed and had a field day on that.

Now I'm kinda curious to see if the raptor forums have noticed this trend yet .

Thanks for the review, that’s very helpful. Especially knowing the tools that worked well for you. Those lights look perfectly placed.

If you wired to the fuse box, do you turn them on with a switch?

Hi guys I bought the ones on eBay from a seller who is located in California. It took like 4 days to get the lights in the mail.
Here’s a pic of the lights.

FYI, for the wires in the fuse box, if you just put a small cut in the top cover, on the side, it won’t cut into the wires, and can be routed right out...

If you ever decide to change, it’s only the lid to replace and very inexpensive.

Those are the same lights, but only the lights and harness, correct? No Add a Fuse, ground, splice, zip ties, etc? This Runnin4Tacos kit is more for those looking for a plug n' play solution. Also, I believe the lights you have are wired for an extra light, which you've just got to coil up in the engine bay (which I don't like).

Looks really good man. This particular style of light is definitely the best I’ve seen out there. They just look like they’re meant to be there, don’t look out of place at all. Even during the day they add a nice subtle touch.

If you want raptor lights buy a raptor. This truck has plenty of uniqueness and good looks without trying to make it look like another brand. How about adding/upgrading to some rigid or baja designs lights which will provide increased function instead of cheesy knock off lights in the grille.
