Anyone have any experience with the Expedition One rear bumper? I'm trying to decide between it and a Mobtown. Like to be able to use the factory hitch on the Expedition One.

Just saw a preview of their new dual carrier rear bumper. Looks pretty sweet, also looks like the factory hitch is still in place amd not modified at all.

For what it’s worth, the integrated hitch in the mobtown bumper is equally as strong if not stronger based on the design. You won’t have any issues with it.

Thanks for the responses. By any chance does anyone have pictures of theirs installed? Only a few I've found online.

Still looking at both so either would be helpful.

It’s not rated with the DOT because that costs a lot of money. The vast majority of aftermarket steel bumpers are the same way. If you look a few posts up, you can see the construction of it and how everything is tied together, for a very stout hitch. I know one guy that towed over the Tacoma capacity on a mobtown bumper and had no issues.

Thanks for the reply. I figured it would be fine, but I figured it wouldn’t hurt to ask. Thanks again

The receiver is several inches higher than stock, so you will need a drop ballmount if you want the trailer to be level. That's my quicksand DCSB TRD OR in the pics above, I use a 6" drop ballmount.

Good to know, I’ve been wondering what size to run with my bumper! Just haven’t had to tow anything yet.

Thanks for the pictures. The Mobtown looks great and I love my sliders from them so far. Just don't know about using a non rated hitch, I tow trailers pretty often.

It depends on the level of your trailer hitch, and the weight at the ball. 6" or 8" drop may work, or just get an adjustable drop, depending on trailer and ball weight.

If yo' ball weight is "way heavy", your can use whatever f'n drop/rise you like. :)
