    What hasn't been modified?
I’ve had spc’s on since February and never had an issue off-roading with them on. Between trails in co and Moab I’d beat on them and haven’t had any issues.
As for alignment shops you really need to find the right person.

Try and find the right person in Lakeview Oregon, bfe Arizona or Raton nm. I travel alot hunting and it's a motherfucker trying to find someone who's competent to work on them. I ended up spending all my time in the shop explaining to people how to work on them. And it's a suspect job in the end at best.

The best shop in the Portland area is Alignment Specialties in Aloha. I beat mine up on my FJ and have had zero issues. I have also run Icons and liked those as well but had to rebuild them after 20k miles.

They're awesome, but getting a short notice appointment there is tough.

The fact that they are adjustable is a GOOD thing, the only thing you can blame here is the shitty alignment shop you go to. All you need to do is find a shop without monkeys working at it and you are good to go.

Torque specs my friend, torque specs :)
Mine have never moved an inch and I wheel plenty.

You kinda missed my fucking point, if you're traveling, good luck finding a shop that has a clue in bfe, if you're a towny mall crawler, then they work fine.

Mine are always torqued to 150lb, i check them every time when i get them back.

After seeing that video I'm second guessing my Icon delta uca's.
Should I sell them and go with SPC or JBA's as I have not installed them yet...?
Just want something that last and works with my fox 2.5 extended travel kit.

It did the other day but won't play now...
I called Down south motorsports and they said the Icon delta was a good long lasting high quality UCA as long as I didn't drive my taco like a trophy truck... lol
So I'm going to run it and see how it goes.

Don’t think you can go wrong with those icons.. i was already way over budget so the SPCs seemed like a good way to go to save a few clams.. good luck with the project!!

Boost, armor, lights, big tires, no savings.
Pro tip. Laminate the installation instructions and show the alignment guy.
Then leave it on your seat so he will actually reference it when he realizes that he actually does not already know everything.

How are the Deltas working out for you? I just hit Gold Mountain with my SPCs and my alignment is already off. I’m pretty pissed and thinking about switching.

I know this thread is older, but I just have to vent my frustrations with the SPC’s… they are the absolute worst. I’m on my 4th set in less than a year because the joints fail prematurely. They are fragile garbage. I will be switching to Icon.

You make the switch? How are the icon deltas treating you?

Yes, I put the tubular Icon uppers on. Immediately the ride of the truck was better with Icon. The alignment is amazing and it is so much nicer to drive. The only complaint I have is this—if they get wet at all, the bushings are super squeaky. That can be solved by using the red & tacky lube in the zerks.

You have to do more trimming than was needed with the SPCs?

I read that the current generation SPC w/ x-axis bushings are terrible!
