    I know someone who has, they had issues with brush pieces stuck in their rack, and issues with the attendant pointing to the sign that said “no off road trucks” (they make other signs like that, such as “no bathrooms for shower” and “only stay 10 minutes”.)

    I also know someone who drove off with the gas filler from the same station with their wife’s car :anonymous:

    But a straight bar with the tire attached to the outside may be better to clear the tailgate when its up. Im not sure it would be as popular as your half gates though, those sound better.

    I didn’t install it. It was shipped to California for our SEMA build. These are the only two I have. I’ll get better ones next week when I get to Las Vegas.

    :pout:I know I'm not getting one ANY time soon... Regardless... What is the reason everyone puts a tire on pass side of the truck?
    I mean for whomever who still has some visibility through rear view mirror, that would create some sort of a blind spot, no? Or am I just nitpicking to justify not getting one....? So, following my flawed logic, could you mount the spare on driver side? Or is that too much of a challenge? (sorry for silly questions)

    because the passenger side is protected from traffic when takin a wheel off. Also it may help offset the normal taco lean.

    MBRP/Off Camber Fab has a tube style one but it’s also plated in sections I think.

    Marlin Crawler did one for their 3rd Gen I think (@BigMike can you confirm).. I know they did a tube front so I assume tube rear too, but nothing on their site yet other than earlier Gens
