We’re in a phenomenal school district and moved here for that reason. I have a great job so it’s worthwhile staying for now. We’ll investigate where to move when he graduates.

100% agree. Hence why I bought a house in northern Idaho and decided to give up on Cali. I commute 14 miles in OC and takes me over an hour each way.plus you will never own a home in a area you actually want to unless you win the lotto or something lol

I am actually writing this from a Motel6 near Salt Lake City. Finishing my last 10hr stretch tomorrow and I'll be home for good in Rathdrum,ID . Would be sweet to roll
Up to a package from Twss lol

Talk about a shitty place to live... I live in Las Vegas, and it's absolutely awful. I'd rather be in Cali, AZ, or several other places than Vegas.

It's not the worst, but it's not good either. Nothing to do but drink, party or gamble, for the most part. And people here are NOT very friendly. I've lived in several different parts of Utah, California, Idaho, and Arizona. Out of them all, Vegas is the least friendly.

Santa is on his way to CA. It's going to take him a few days to get there though.

Depending on your political views Oregon isn't much better. The views are amazing though!

How would you rate 36 and raining hard vs just cold or Cold and snowy?

I personally like snow thats why I asked.. but working in the rain and its only 34-38 degrees gets to be rough

Live in New England for 40 something years, you'll grow to hate snow. Trust me.

That said yes, working outside in it not so much.
