I probably would not be able to do it, but you could latch on to part or parts of the arizona backcountry discovery route.

The section from Globe to Flagstaff looks particularly promising

ABSOLUTELY!!! I would love to run through the whole state and already have the Northern AZ overland Track routed! The northern part I have already planned to do would be from Prescott to Grand Canyon over 144 miles of Dirt road with maybe one or two quick highway crossings. Obviously the Northern Track would have to be done around Feb./ March 2019. I know of other folks who might enjoy this as well!

Like 98% back to normal. I get a slight wheel rub when turning right into a parking lot with an incline. Has a slight drift to the right too. Also had the RCI front skid fall off when I took it on a test off road trip. Was pretty furious about that since it could have killed someone if it fell off on the highway. Have a camping trip this weekend where I am hoping to test it some more.

Shit hopefully an alignment will fix the drift and rub, and I hope the shop takes care of it all with kid gloves after messing up your skid

I personally will be in Colorado late August-beginning of Sept.

For me late spring would be perfect! Not to hot down south and no snow for the north! Beat the monsoons! BAM!

I could actually be in depending on when this trip happens.

Most of my spring will be doing some camping/trail angel stuff for the Northbound thru hikers on the AZ trail that will be from early March into early April. I have a little break, then want to do a Colorado run. After that I start back on the AZT in Fall.

Wow! It’s exciting to see all the interest in this idea! @Carter'sTaco, why don’t you share some of the details you’ve been working on. I don’t mind at all if someone wants to step up as organizer/planner. For me this would need to be scheduled out far enough to put in for the time off of work. For what it’s worth I’m also totally fine camping in below freezing temps as long as the locations are camp fire friendly. I’m partial to camping in the higher elevations having grown up in SoAz I’m into the change of scenery. Any other’s have ideas/suggestions?

It is super cool! This has been a dream of mine for awhile now. I have backpacked most of the state and now its time to do it by vehicle! Ha!

I have put together the Northern route and have some knowledge of the route from Mexcio and in a couple hundred miles. Lately I have not been as into it as I have been....moddin' the poop out of Gloria!:spending:

To be more prepared of course:D:rofl:

I do not mind either if I am NOT the organizer as I run a small business and am a single father...haha, time is what I lack most of all BUT WOULD NOT MISS THIS! I would love to meet up or when I get the chance, prepare all I have for a "copy and paste, upload" extravaganza! :thumbsup:Which I could do in 2 weeks or so.

I am over prepared for any type of weather and invite all the elements nature can throw at us! I am very experienced in the elements, and look forward to what AZ shows and gives us!
