I managed the ski shop on property for many years. I still work for the company that owns the shop and have great relationships with a few of the heads of the mtn so they still slide me a free pass each year.

Potterbrothers.com sells discount tickets to Jiminy (and many other mtns as well). (That's were I work).

Typically we sell them in our stores, but Jiminy does not allow us to sell discount tickets on property. So they would have to be from one of the "city stores" in Kingston or Fishkill NY. They are available online as well, but have a $11 shipping as that is what a signed envelope costs.

UMASS hockey ranked number 1 in country. Saw them lose to Quinnipiac, in CT, on Friday. Glad they won yesterday. Over 8000 people in the Mullins Center. Shouldn't be ashamed of splitting with Quinnipiac; they are a great team.
    Go UMASS !!!!

Thank you.... I will check them out....

I actually bit the bullet & made a call to the Cooley Dick hospital (they have an area for hanging local artwork) cuz a friend has been bugging me to call them for a year now. Left a message on thursday & have not heard back. I looked up Cold River & the website has that the cafe is closed for the winter.... I can stop in to the Green Bean & call Outlook....

Little late in the game here, but OMG! Thank you! I have been wondering what the heck was going on there on Conz St. I mean I knew about the pot store, but not where it was & the scene there is nucking futz.... A friend told me that it's 15.00/joint, well, plus 20% tax. As much as I do my darnedest to not be judgmental, I can't imagine some of the crew I have seen standing in the line can afford that & why would you want to if you can grow your own???? So I wonder if some are waiting for their medically prescribed stash & if that's the case, do they have a bunch of people with bad backs, cancer, etc. standing in line for hours?

I think all those people are in the line for rec. Or at least most of them, the regular medical customers must be pissed. I know in the CO stores they let med customers go first and have their own sections with high powered products. Probably something similar here. I think it will die down once a few more stores can open, right now you have one half of the state going to the NOHO store and the other half going to the one they allowed out East. If it were me, I'd stick to the home delivery services you can text and get same day delivery with no lines or taxes :anonymous:

What do you know (if anything) about the house for sale on Harwood? I have not even done a driveby yet. Part of me loves the idea of being out that far, old style house, all that land.... Other part of me still loves the idea of all that land, but do I really wanna be out that far? & how much work do I feel like putting into the interior (I like exterior work)? I've been looking a little around Plainfield & Cummington. Then I keep running into the Harwood house in the listings & there you are & while it's your opinion, well, you like my pics, so it's got'a be worth something

As far as condition, I am not really sure, I haven't seen inside it. The road itself is very private as is the area. The only people that live on Harwood rd, are the Harwoods. You wouldn't see much traffic at all, I'd guess only a couple of dozen cars a year max that weren't them, and that might be an overestimate. It's close to black brook rd and rt2 also, so you can get to N. Adams in 20 mins and Charlemont in 10. Their grandfather used to mow our fields with horses when I was a boy and they still get by living off the land from what I know. Father in law was telling me that one of them makes (or did) veneers or wood for high-quality violins or something, along with other wood work.

If you like living rurally, and want some peace and quiet I think it'd be a great spot. The closest house before that one is someone's second home and they aren't around much, then after that is the old building inspector who seems to hang around doing little projects but was always a cool guy when my parents were doing work back in the day up here. I LOVE it up here for the land and freedom Savoy offers, but you have to be okay with a lot of driving to get anywhere and plan out your shopping trips etc...

Hi friends, I'm also new on here, just got back in a Tacoma. I'm looking for places to explore, but don't know where to find trails or places to go. Are there clubs or groups, or sites that have maps around here?
