Just vacuumed the truck out. First time in 2 years, filled the little container 4 times. So much dust and rocks lol

I can't stand having the interior a mess for too long...I vacuum and clean the carpet in the interior at least once a month and wipe everything down with AmorAll or similar just as often if not more

Hmm, anything would probably be an upgrade over what I’ve got now, just s Nikon point and shoot, which takes decent pictures for what it is.

The only editing I do is what you can do on an iPhone haha.

Maybe I’ll see if I can get a decent deal on a family members older camera

I would get something with the ability to interchange lenses (DSLR) if you really want to take awesome photos like the ones @SoCalTacoTruck took up above. An expensive point and shoot will take good quality pics, but if you want to get creative with depth of field (blurry or sharp backgrounds), artificial lighting (flash, color gels, light painting etc.) and more then you want to get a DSLR and 2 or 3 really good lenses.

Photography is an expensive ass hobby if you really get into it, just like Tacomas lol

Its junk. They claim it to have a 70% chance of it fixing it. The best/only way is to put the camaro hydraulic system in it. Same tranny, and Chevy doesn't have the issue.

Usually $100-$150. The digitizer takes less labor to replace than the charging port.

Why don’t you give it a go yourself? It’s not that difficult.

That's lame, that's an expensive product to buy for only a 70% chance of having it work.

I would like to drop a 6 speed in mine. But only after I do a engine swap. The R150F is just a good transmission for these trucks.

I've only ever test driven a manual 2nd gen but it was a highly modified piece of junk at a 3rd party used car lot that I nearly bought when I was looking for a Tacoma because I didn't know any better. Thing had a huge spacer lift on it with glass fenders...that should tell you all you need to know haha. I dodged a bullet there.

I might get one of these when my current camera shits the bed.

Ny camera goes through hell haha, negative temps and snow to 90° and dust, getting thrown around in my back pack. Kinda scared to buy anything too nice.

Nah. People bitch about the autos in the 3rd gen, but they bitched about the gas mileage in the 2nd gen. Toyota fixed it by putting a lexus motor in it and people still complained. Just cant make everyone happy I guess.

Didn't stop me from buying my 2000 taco with a 6" lift made my rough country. But I think it turned out ok, Toyota bought it and I used the money for a new one.

Looking back I think I mostly dodged a bullet because that truck was probably beat to hell and back...with a poor quality lift on it and the fact that it was at a shady used car lot (meaning the PO probably couldn't get anyone else to accept it as a trade in) it probably didn't have much life left in it. At the time, I knew next to nothing about what to look for in quality aftermarket parts but a friend of mine convinced me I'd be happier to get something closer to stock and build it myself, which I'm glad I did.

It was probably bought at auction not traded into that exact lot. Its too expensive for those mom and pop lots to keep their own trade ins and pay tax on them.

ah, yeah so that's potentially even worse...probably belonged to some tweaker that couldn't make the payments anymore and never properly maintained it. Guess my point being, with highly modified rigs you never really know what kind of treatment they received. And for someone like me (at the time), I didn't know a quality suspension lift from a <$100 spacer lift. Glad I ended up shopping elsewhere and finding my truck when I did.
