Custom LED Map and Dome lights

My super dome prototype should be done in the next day or 2. That will solve EVERYONE'S problems. Dim, Medium, Bright, White, Red, Green, Blue...whatever your heart desires.

I want one please and I want some maps ones red or white and I was wondering if you can custom make one for my 1993 Hilux it’s the exact same concept

 

Are the maps also going to be able to match the dome later on?

 

Yes. They are going through a whole redesign right now. They are going to be super trick

 

@mesojdm does that mean we should stop watching for the current 3rd Gen maps to be restocked? I'm most interested in some Red ones.

 

I'll still make some runs of those as the maps are still just in concept phase

Will you still be producing the regular red/white dome or just the super version?

 

I hope to keep both options available because the super will be more expensive. And for someone that doesn’t want all the extra features and only a single color, it would be nice to keep the ultimate version for those people.
With that said.. I think the superdome is going to be epic, and I’ll try and keep the price reasonable like all my other mods.

The two circular ports?

 

Button A= 25%, 50%, 100% brightness
Button B= COLOR SELECTION.
(Of course this will be the default mode)

2 easy to reach, basic tactile buttons that will cover pretty much all your needs.

Although, if you want to get a little more custom... there will be a Bluetooth version where you can assign each button to do exactly what you want.
Example:
I have already figured out how bright I want it; 50%. So it’s locked and removed from features.
Now.. I want both buttons to do the color change. BUT, I’ve already figured out I only want white and red LEDs.
Essentially I have a easy to reach button from either side(passenger or driver) that does what I programmed;
Change RED to WHITE(and back obviously) while only at 50% output from any button. This is actually how I’ve been running mine and I like the setup.

I haven’t even went into the on/off sequences. Since each LED is assignable, I could have it play SNAKE upon opening the doors if needed. But what I am going to have is the ON Will be a TRON like boot up. Starting in the middle and activating out sequentially to the edges.
Not for everyone, but it’s gonna be sweet.

 

Awesome. Just goes to show how much thought and work can go into something that looks so simple! Anything remotely TRON looking would be legit!!

Just wanted to say thank you for this quality light. My wife drives the truck primarily and I just make it “pretty” for her. This light actually is more then pretty, it’s practical. She works at a prison so when she gets off and after that long walk to her truck it’s nice to see it light up so bright she can see it’s empty. It gives her a little piece of mind. Thanks
