I’m 5’11” and have to put the top of my head in the moonroof opening.

You could get one of those 360 degree bubble roof windows that they used to put on 1970's custom vans.

After reading thread I was convinced their wasn't enough headway in the tacoma. I am 6 feet but I had a good 5 to 6 inches or more. Lol. Different shapes and sizes I guess

Your best bet is to have the seat cushion modified. No commercial enterprise in their right mind would modify the seat frame because of the liability if you have an accident. Ambulance chasing lawyers would have a field day with that one.

FYI - this would allow you to use a modified non-moonroof liner and open your roof wide-open for those mountain drives on nice days.

    Hey

A 4runner could be an option. My wife has the SR5 Premium and it is a way better vehicle by far.

I have my reasons for driving a tacoma, but we always take the 4runner on our road trips.

Trade it for a 17-18 Pro - it will have everything you have now, sans a moon roof.

ETA - unless you absolutely need a LB.

OP is like me, he wanted all the other nice stuff (auto CC, auto headlights, heated seats, etc..)...the only way to get those is by getting the moon roof.

I've opened mine twice in three years.

The sunroof is now standard equipment on the Pro, but you are correct if he wants a 17 or 18 Pro.

How much headroom do you really lose with the sunroof?
