I have that on my radar for sure, if this doesn’t improve my situation

Gotcha. That was about the only thing I could think of it possibly helping, but didn't know how much it was really a problem. If it works that's an easy awesome fix and if not, it's not like you're out a bunch of time and money

yep! Simple if it works, cheap if it fails.
I am amazed the rack I just removed was still turning the wheels without too much effort and would hold the truck straight on the freeway going 70, I was just constantly dumping PS fluid into the reservoir and then watching it leak straight onto the ground :bananadead:

Another theory we have going is that I’m using PS fluid because my after market PSC pump needs it, but the racks are designed to use ATF-4 so the ps fluid might be eating the seals lol

So it's like a sports bra to support your Rack? :notsure: It lifts & supports?

Also congrats on the ig post. She make you do that so you can buy more truck parts? That's the deal I have been arranged with since I am hardly making any money until I graduate and get a real job again

Ughhh I still got 2 more years. Going back to school after almost a 10yr break is tough.

Side note: I'll be in pismo the weekend of November 10 for a bachelor party. One of the few times per year I get to see all my Cali friends, so I'm not really trying for a big meet and greet, but if you're there and cruising through the dunes and spot me, I'd love to check your truck out. And I'm sure my friends wouldn't mind a truck as bad ass as yours hanging out for a bit.

Just read through everything, awesome build. Marlin Crawlers is coming out with a steering rack soon, allegedly. That may also be appealing to you if your current setup breaks.

Wonder if there will be an advantage to that over jumping all the way to a howe setup

Does the howe setup work if the hydraulics fail? The MARRACK will at least still have a manual rack.

I’m unsure, SpartanCustoms dropped a Howe setup into his rig and claims it’s the tits.

Why thank you, been quiet on here. But still tinkering on the truck and getting ready for another batch of desert trips.

Does anybody know where I can fine a wiring diagram of the speed sensor wiring harness? I haven't had my speedometer working since Feb 2018 and i'd like to get that going again.
I think this is the wiring harness I need, but I'd rather not blow $50 to find out. https://www.partsgeek.com/catalog/2...l_speed_sensor_wire_harness.html#immersedview

2019 has been awesome, I bought my first home with my fiancé, so been busy tinkering and playing around with home improvement.
Photo is from the first day back on the road a few weeks back after rebuilding all the coilovers and servicing a few small worn out items. The truck is insanely smooth on coilovers only.
It has been on jack stands since KOH earlier this year after I broke a few things.

Broke this at KOH 2019 when my lower coilover bolt on the driver side broke/loosened up and fell out, not sure which.
