on my first Tacoma I ran OME. total night an day. The OME stuff rusted up, and I blew the valving out of them after 40k miles. When I ran the PurePerformance stuff is a lot more durable with the environment, infinite amount of adjustment for valving (compression and rebound) and the guys there really have a passion for offroading so they work with what ever your end goal is

 

Good to know, now I'm interested in the cost difference, I can snag an OME kit for roughly $1,200.00, just missing UCA's which I don't know if I'll need based on going up only 3" max.

looking to replace my stock OR suspension and have been waiting till black Friday to see if deals roll around. I am debating between bilstein 5100s with Dakar leaf pack, 6112/5180, or these. Look forward to seeing the price.

 

I know I’ve been lacking guys but Pure Performance finally released the cost numbers for these kits!! I will add them to the first post as well. Just to be clear this is the full retail price, I had the discount listed in the previous posts. This is also for a full on bolt in kit. So no piecing stuff together. This is a 100% engineered, tester, and custom package for each vehicle. So the shocks are tuned for the particular vehicle they are going in.

Let me know if you guys are serious about getting on the group buy. They go live the 1st of January so the sooner you are in the sooner you get it!

 

Wow, those are some great prices. Will have to keep my eyes peeled on reviews once guys start picking these up, I'd likely be interested in the Stage 2 w/ the UCA's but wallet is screaming right now with Christmas.

Is it necessary to install the front diff drop with these ??

 

I don’t believe so, I know it’s kind of a personal preference on here with people that install it

 

Where does this stand. I'll be ready to order shortly and the tacoma adventure series is in my budget if this is actually gonna happen.

 

So the group buy is live. Pricing and current options are on the first post now. There’s really no minimum amount of people required for this.
The kits go live on their site after the new year so once we get there I’ll provide to them all the names and contact info. You will place the order directly through them so when you call just give them the TW handle and should be ok.

If you want to tweak the kit let me know (like if you just want the shocks)

 

Where is the "Like button"?

 

If you need just shocks let me know. Would need to know if its just stock replacement, you have an AAL, or a different leaf pack. Helps them make sure everything as the correct shock specs
