@jayrobot mine is only showing one order number but in the odd case that you would be shipping mine in two parts, don't - save the money on shipping please and ship them together Order No.10128

IMO it was more then fair enough of him to offer them to us at such a ridiculously low price, offer us incredible customer service and essentially be on call for us when we have issues... and no, I'm not saying that just because I too stayed up until Midnight to place my order.

You guys rock! Thanks for the understanding...I know who I’m putting on top of the queue ;)

I’ll figure it out, I always do. My name, perception and reputation is much more important to me. I will make everyone happy regardless. If anyone ever wants to chat, PM me your number and I’ll text you back with my personal cell number just because, it’s personal. This forum nd the people on it like yourselves are exactly why I’m giving back and can’t say no to anyone who’s reasonable...normally at least. FYI still have not slept since I woke up Saturday morning. You guys have kept us real busy so when everyone but me is still around, I keep going at it. I spent one hour supporting a 12VS customer yesterday who googled for resources (couldn’t find any) and somehow I came up online, (yes I still helped him even though it was a Camry and he didn’t buy anything from me) and another 4 hours on the phone 11PM - 3AM getting my first ever manual Tacoma buddy to get his smart module to work...sent him two sets of everything and at the end it was just one loose wire he bumped out of a connector during an install that he overlooked despite me telling him to CHECK! Yes Miles, fingers pointed at you! I’m going to need major sleep after this is all said and done. Pat yourselves on the back, anyone who purchased recently has gotten a sale that will likely not repeat for months to come. I am NOT having a Christmas blow out. Maybe a modest discount, but not a door buster. It’s alot of work to hook y’all up! If my local customers read this, I’ll have some unhappy people at my door. I have already turned any and all of them away that want the push to start for toyotas and lexus’s That use the same harness and customers wanting to add my smart module to stuff they already bought from me in order to fulfill your orders for less than I could’ve made on them. Told them to come back and check with me in January! So I do appreciate the patience and understanding. I am making you ALL the priority right now, we are not trying to do anything else but get you guys your stuff ASAP! :)

Who says they don’t make plug n play remote starters for 3rd gen Manuals? Well they don’t. But I did.

Say hello to the custom designed, and engineered by me of N2 Designs plug ‘n’ play HKEY manual harness. Coming to a manual Tacoma near you! First of its kind to be produced for the consumer market. Same as the HKEY automatic install (TPMS gets snipped - and unlike the rest, check out that clamp connector for your two open lead wires after snipping!). Unlike the HKEY AUTO, we’ve integrated the relay that triggers your “clutch cancel” as if it was you doing it (a fused relay might I add so there’s no need to run anything to a fuse terminal through the firewall to the battery). Aside from TPMS like the HKEY auto guys, which they also HAVE to do, no one else has it, has done it, or sells it from a retail stand point. This is an N2 Designs exclusive. Get excited. You’re welcome.

In stock (currently 12 left after our 3rd gen market place/classifieds sub-forum Black Friday sale), many were sold. They can be found here:

@jayrobot How long does the tpms low pressure light flash after starting with the remote on a manual transmission?

Same as the HKEY auto, as soon as you do key takeover.

@hallux yes, all hkey 3x remote starts require this, regardless of brand or retailer, this is not unique to me...ask any hkey automatic owner with a 3x remote start on this forum...watch any YouTube video, don’t care about the brand of starter, it just has to be a 3x oem fob type and 3rd gen HKEY. Ask around brother. The streets don’t lie haha!

the video you posted shows it flashing after driving down the driveway. That's why I ask.

I just don't want the dealer to question things if I ever go in for service.

That’s because my manual tester tacoma switched out to non OEM rims and is running without actual sensors, it was always on for him before the remote starter, so bad example yes, but as long as you HAVE the sensors, you’re good like the video I linked below. Here is the video of how it turns off immeduately after key takeover like I mentioned:

Only ONE wire. It’s really not that bad, and my stuff can be put on your next ride if a plug n play harness is avaliable, either you can buy the software communication cable (software is free) and flash it yourself, or I can do it. You’ll spend half of what you bought it from me for to “transfer” it. The connector I give you can be used to fuse the snipped TPMS back without tools, they’ll never know. Worst case get a friend who can solder and shrink tube, or crimp any type of insulated male/female connector end on to each of the snipped ends. Do not worry. Not one of these units has come back defective once installed and functioning, and 0 of them ever caused the vehicle to malfunction in other areas. Toyota puts these on their own vehicles whenever they sell remote starts in certain regions. They wouldn’t do that if they didn’t trust or like the product!

I think we are referring to different uses of the word fair. I agree, fair price, although I would say it is a more than fair price, dare I say awesome price. And awesome customer service from all the responses on this website and quick responses to my questions when I know he was busy.

Taking orders and fulfill them in the order in which the orders are taken and when you have the product is fair - this is not a group buy so holding them in a "everyone-gets-a-trophy" mentality is illogical. Then prioritizing those that make positive comments or defend your business is another issue. It's not about getting the product, I have lived without a remote start for years and can wait another month. I knew up front it would be mid to late December and have no issue with that. If I had waited until Sunday of the sale to order I would have no issue with being last to receive the products.

This is the first thing I will order once I get a solid date on when my tacoma is going to be delivered. Solid customer service and price. I should have just bought it during the black friday/cyber monday timeframe, but my dealer screwed me with lack of communication. Well, regardless, I have the utmost respect for your transparency and how forthcoming you are with information.

***UPDATE 12/10: YouTube Videos & Shipping***

    - All Push to Start WITHOUT a smart unit with the exception of 10 of them will get a tracking by late tonight. The other 8 of those 10 will get it by late Wednesday, the other 2 will get it by Sunday. This is in order received, in fact that covers all orders received up till this point in time. Two week lead time on all PTS orders placed today 12/10 or after. I may surprise you earlier though ;)

    - All HKEY AT and HKEY MT without a smart module in the order also get a tracking number tonight.

    - Anyone else with non-Tacoma starters will go out this week too, but if they are coupled with a smart module, or RF kit, they are on the same track as the rest of the orders with smart modules. That includes all HKEY, PTS, and Non-Tacoma kits.

    - There is too many people to paste emails into the email blast as my web host doesn’t have the ability to select WHO to blast and I’m not looking to blast past customers, as it’s in newsletter format, so with that said, I’ll post all the video links on here and you can watch your respective one. Instructions are also included in the package.

If I am missing anything please let me know.

(***Disclaimer these are not my videos and I do not take credit for them, granted they are public and one of them I paid for the rights to use it as it’s by a great forum member on here that was kind enough. I don’t believe in stealing peoples hard work without giving credit.)

Note: Smart modules programming varies on what it’s being PAIRED with as far as N2-EA...or N2-EO Kit. This applies to whatever vehicle it’s for! The plug is different too, so chose the correct video. If your module does not look like the one in the video, STOP and go back to click on the correct video!

N2 Designs 2016 - 2019 Smart Key Push to Start Remote Starter Install Guide - written instructions form - this guide can also be used on how to remove all 3rd gen trim.

Push to Start & Smart Module for (trim removal lighting better in the HKEY AT video below, this also has the smart module programming FOR the kits that have “EA” in the part number. 6MT Manual guys, first few orders that came in had a p/n typo on the website, I’ve fixed this on the invoice I’ve included in your package, and it’s on your mailed box. Disregard smart module portion of the video if you didn’t buy it, you’re done):

HKEY Auto/Manual (then use my supplementary printed instructions on the last page of the hard copy sent to you to finish up with the Clutch Cancel - this is the only different thing about yours compared to HKEY Auto, everything else from FOB and Smart module programming is the same):

HKEY Manual: (you will follow HKEY Auto video above and this shows the extra step for the Clutch Cancel tap):

    1. Disconnect the Clutch cancel socket/connector from the back of the Clutch Cancel button.

    2. Locate the YELLOW wire on the Clutch cancel socket, this it what you’ll use to tap into with the YELLOW wire labeled “Clutch Cancel” off the remote starter harness.

    3. Locate the single YELLOW wire with the RED attached T TAP labeled “Clutch Cancel” from my remote starter harness, remove the TAP half from the female spade connector. Put the tap onto the YELLOW wire ensuring the wire is seated and centered on the metal splicer blades and use pliers to slowly compress the tap until the tap clicks ensuring the YELLOW factory wire doesn’t move off the center of the metal splicing blades.

    4. You’re now done with the physical install. You may now program in order to complete install.

Different angle and photo of TPMS connection for HKEY AT and MT Tacoma kits:

Connector tabs need to be all the way back on the clamp connector that’s attached to the provided cable labeled “TPMS” if they aren’t already.

After they are snipped per attached instructions:

White/Green on the provided TPMS twisted cable needs to connect to top side of TPMS wire of snipped open end coming out of the vehicle side connector.

White/Red on the provided TPMS twisted cable needs to connect to bottom side of TPMS wire of snipped open end coming out of the vehicle side connector. However there is no polarity so it DOES not matter if you get it wrong it will still work!

    upload_2018-12-10_23-47-40.jpg

Here is another way to use my 2 to 2 TPMS Splice Clamp Connector Terminal so that there is no strain or tightness on the vehicle side, thanks @TacoLlama for thinking outside the box!

If you have a remote start module from me for a non Tacoma - if there is an “EO” in your part number, you will follow the programming portion (not wiring) using the video of HKEY Auto above.

If you have a remote start module from me for a non Tacoma - if there is an “EA” in your part number, you will follow the programming portion (not wiring) using the video of any of the PTS Auto above. And if you’ve purchased a smart module to go with this non-Tacoma “EA” kit, the smart programming in the video above is for you too.

    For RF FOB kits:

If you're pairing it with an N2-EA kit:

For the outbound shipments mentioned a couple posts up in post #497, we’re updating tracking numbers and when all the labels are printed, they will reflect by end of day 12/10. Please don’t email or call for a tracking. Everyone else, please read the same post to get an idea of when to expect a tracking.

All PTS, HKEY AT and MT ONLY have been sealed up and waiting for pickup. Tracking numbers are being put into our automated system by my helper as I work on banging out their other folks from a kit prep stand point. I don’t trust anyone else to do anything but packaging or non technical work. I do all the harness prepping, programming and testing because of you want something done right...

The automated system takes sometime to refresh so you should all see tracking number late tonight but for sure when you non-smart or non-RF kit addition folks wake up. They’re all completed. Just had to do one last QA/QC to make sure you’re getting everything in the box, instructions and all, and correct year hardware. I also had to make sure special requests for shipping, and engine runtimes were met. If it’s not perfect, I bang my head on the wall and that means I may be knocked too unconscious to continue pumping out kits, and hustling to patch vendor bottle necks so that most don’t even notice the distribution nightmares and hiccups I go through...since Saturday, 9 hours of sleep total...energy drinks and coffee are only hell of a diet!
