Perks of living close to the new Amazon warehouse, same day shipping. Order at 8am received the package at 830 pm. Haven’t tried the pump out yet but still excited about how quick it got here.

 

Easy night. “Installed” mag mount HAM radio antenna. And while I was down under the truck covering the grommet I just sliced with silicone I went ahead and added more silicone to some old grommets. Gotta keep your feet dry.

Still saving up for mobile unit - Looking to get ICOM D5100. But tomorrow SWR meter comes in as well as UHF to SMA adapter so I can at least work the HT.

Split my 6-way fuse box in the center console into a 2x3, half always hot and half ignition hot.

 

$250! At the store or you had to order it? Our Costco doesn't have radar detector's Here, some still use K

 

great little pump. fits right under the rear seat.

 

I had issues with not being able to hear the alerts when I have my stereo turned up, so I ran an ear bud up through the seat to the head rest. Fixed that problem, lol! Not sure if the IX
has the same issue as the 9500i where it will blow the audio if you plug a stereo headphone jack into the AUX, (blew my 9500ix trying it had to send it in) but if you need a mono earbud with a long cord to run it up through your seat, I ordered 2 and they sent me 20, lol! So if you need one lemme know, you can have one

Got my bed prinsu installed, still waiting for two more mounting feet from CBI so i can bolt up the middle of the rack. Also finished wiring my rear locker actuator and almost finished my bed lights and compressor wiring. finishing up tomorrow!

All our organizations offices were delayed opening for potential black ice today.. didn't even get to freezing most places.

Used the time to change the rear diff oil after the 500 mile re gear break in.... decided to go with the recommended 85w-140 Lucas Dino. Shit is THICK.
