seems quite a few complain about the notchy feel. and quite a few don't, but that's not specific to the URD SS kit, just generally about this MT. i don't have roughness and it seems if you have good aim you won't get a notchy shift. i had notchy 2-3 shifts until i refined my aim and it's always good now.

Stainless with a delrin ring (for the heat) would be right up your alley. 2nd from the right in this pic.

    Not a cheap knob though.

Do any of these salespeople have a clue? The shifters, if you mean a MT, are the same in both trucks. I've had both. The pro has a different shift ball on the top, but mostly just a different color. No where near the short throw of my BMW Z4.

Just a gen2 TRD shift knob so far. Anxiously awaiting ovTune 1.05 with handheld tuner!
It shifts like a truck. The stock knob sucks for feel simply cause you cant get your hand around it. One thing about Wrangler knobs is that you can get you whole hand on it at various angles. I ended up getting the oem Trd cue ball. Day amd night to stock feel.

That's pretty cool but it can't be right that your fob is disabled and you have to use the physical key to get in, can it? That seems annoying and cumbersome.

I didn’t think it would be that way (my Impreza wasn’t) but it’s not the end of the world......I gotta get in the door with the key in my hand anyway to drive the truck away haha

I’m just glad that the truck is definitely locked when it’s remote-start-running because you had to click lock 3x to get it to start. And if you mess up setting the reservation mode in the first place, it locks after ~15sec so it’s locked either way.

It is really heavy, ordered mostly by those who have a short shifter. 750g for the knob ... another 65g if paired with a SS boot collar.

    I had to know.

Polyoxymethylene (POM), also known as acetal, polyacetal, and polyformaldehyde, is an engineering thermoplastic used in precision parts requiring high stiffness, low friction, and excellent dimensional stability.

and then you have the "homo" and "no-homo" versions of them (homopolymer vs copolymer).
