    That's not right. Get that welded up or else you will find out what happens the first time you come down on a rock. Bad things will be the outcome.

    I sent a message to RCI to see if this is a manufacturing escape or a design change since the delivered product is different than what was advertised.

    Let us know what they say. Kinda bummed I sent mine off to get powder coated yesterday before I realized the weld was on the bottom on the photo on the website.

    "Thanks for running our product on your truck! We stitch weld the top of that center support tube and not the bottom. If you were to ever bend the skid the welds on the center tube support would help the skid from deflecting into the oil pan. Even if the weld broke they would still hold the skid plate down. That is part of the design. Please let me know if you have any more questions."
