    Hey Guys,

I am new to the forum. I recently decided to sell my pride and joy, a 1993 HZJ77 Toyota Landcruiser, in order to get something a bit more well rounded. I imported the cruiser from Japan a few years ago and had a lot of fun with it. I loved the Landcruiser but it barely fit in my garage with the lift and tires (only 33's) and I couldn't even fit a roof rack on it let alone a RTT. So, I decided to get a Tacoma. I have always loved 2nd Gen tacos and to be honest I did not like the look of the 3rd gen at first. I started shopping and quickly realized that Tacos, like Landcruisers, hold their value like crazy.

I started looking at 2012+ 2nd gens. At mid 30k price range here in Canada and a lack of TRD off roads for sale in BC, I decided to look for a 3rd gen which came with a few creature comforts I like. I contacted my buddy who is a salesman at a local dealer and asked him to look for any pre owned/lease returns he may have. Obviously, there were none. I looked at an access cab but we have a 70lb doggo and she wouldn't fit in the back seat so I need a double cab. I found a few used 2016/2017 double cabs for around 40-42k CAD with 30-50k on them but with taxes, it was only a few grand cheaper than a brand new 2019 TRD off road so here we are. I picked it up 2 weeks ago and I had a few odds and ends to install before I even had the truck. TRD Pro Grille, center console organizer, center console tray, dash cam etc.

I work in a body shop and I love fabricating stuff. I have some cool ideas so stay tuned.

I upgraded the low beams and fogs to LED. The factory halogen bulbs weren't cutting it. Put that TRD pro grille in too!
