Replacing everything worn, broken, and rusted.
Used to have a 94 4.0L 4x4 Manual Wrangler. Forest Green. I loved it. My brother took it over and killed it. Never changed the oil. Cracked the block. SMH. Give or take looked like this.

    1994-jeep-wrangler-yj-6-inch-lift-35-inch-tires-no-rust-1.jpg

I too miss the Jeep wave. I wave occasionally at other Tacos, esp same color or age.

Surprisingly I get more waves back from jeeps than I do from anything Toyota. I’ve even met some jeeps on a the trail and they decided to tag along with me

I don't think I've ever gotten a wave back from a taco, 4runner or tundra.. just a weird stare as I drive past

I always increase tension on my sphincter when I see a Taco. That prevents me from soiling myself due to the excitement of seeing another genius vehicle buyer.

A committee needs to be formed and be named something like the American Society of Waving and Road Etiquette Standards, and then vote on a bunch of stuff.

Or we could start a poll :deadhorse::frusty:

I do the 4 fingers lift off the wheel, rarely get anything back. I wave at neighbors at home, about 5 of 10 wave back. I will make a point to wave at the non wavers in the neighborhood. Americans can be real snooty and unfriendly.

I do tend to be a little more courteous with waving people in front of me into traffic if it's a Taco or 4runner. Dodges and Fords can take a number.

I was ready to replace my 98 Wrangler with a new 2018 one, but after reading on the forum threads about the steering, decided to go back to Toyota trucks. They went with a new electronic steering setup and on the station wagons...….errr……..4 door models they apparently messed up the software for the steering for a while. I've also noticed that after driving my Taco for a couple of months, getting in the Wrangler feels like being stuffed in a sardine can.

Today, got a nice “peace sign” wave from the driver of an older, lifted 4 Runner as he was passing me on the Interstate. It was pretty cool.

I'll get a wave, or a nod from most fellow Quicksand owners. Otherwise, they don't even notice me.

Did get a full on hang-ten from a quicksander in J-Tree a few years back as we passed each other at mach 2 on an off camber dirt track. lol

Shaka works for me. I do get weird looks when I travel off East Maui...
