To start, thanks everyone for all the help answering my annoying questions over the last year and for all the good info on here.

After months and months of research and asking all kinds of questions I finally ordered my lift and hope it works out the way I wish for it to in my head. :)

Goal: 2.75" with lift, then another .25 to .5 with tires when I get them in spring.

    New Setup:
gen2 6112's with red powder coated springs
    5160's
    ome elo95r leaf pack
carrier drop kit (just in case)
1/4" spacer for each front (just in case I want more height without maxing out 6112)
    jba uca's

I'll update this post as things progress. Installing it myself, but waiting for slightly warmer weather lol.

Since I already have the info, here is my starting point:

    Left Front - 34 5/8 and 20 3/8
    Right front - 35 1/4 and 21 1/2
    Left rear - 36 and 21 1/2
    Right rear - 36 and 21 1/4

(1st # = Ground to fender and 2nd # = Center of hub to fender)

Congrats on the new hardware. Blackout looks great so far. I saw your goal in respect to height, but what's your use case look like? Generic trails, fire roads, overlanding? Anything particular? Just curious as to what suspension components folks choose for certain uses.

Honestly, mostly looks is what I was going for. Got to look good at the mall when picking up girls ha ha.

I wanted to do this once and cry once so I wanted to go with something that gave good lift, but at the same time comfortable ride and the cost difference between 5100's and 6112/5160 wasn't steep enough to not go with the 6112/5160 setup.

One day I will do some light offroad, but I am so new to it that I need to learn more about it before taking my almost 40k truck out there lol

Parts are dwindling in. JBA uca's will be here tomorrow. Dropping the springs off next week to get powder coated red and plan to do the install next month.

    I will say, these 6112 and 5160's are pretty darn nice. Glad I spent the extra money for them.2018-12-19 16.39.45.jpg 2018-12-19 16.39.26.jpg 2018-12-18 19.24.24.jpg 2018-12-18 19.24.17.jpg

He might have to help me at least keep the cursing down

I love the look of the headlights and the drl's. I just installed Morimoto Elite hid's and feel that the light output is better than the Kensun hid's I had in there previously. They are not perfect, bot for a total of $450 for housings and hid's, they are much better than stock in my opinion. The only thing I would really want to change the the drl brightness, but that can wait.

    ratcityrain,

It looks great! seems like it leveled her out very well. I am assuming you just got this far over the 3 day weekend? Let me know how those OME's ride... I have been considering them for when I make the leap and lift mine.

Ya, I had a 4 day weekend so took advantage of the long weekend to do it. I did the fronts on Friday and the rears yesterday. So far it rides real nice. Absorbs speed bumps well and doesn't feel all floaty.

Finally got the JBA uca's on. What a b#%&tch, but they are done and glad I did it rather than pay someone else.

One thing I found to make life easier on the passenger side is to remove the front grille and one small panel piece. There is a hole in the firewall large enough to stick something through so you can hammer the uca bolt into place.
