Insert correct Storage Media Device Error

    Hello, I am new to the forum and didn't come across any other threads regarding this. i have a 2012 double cab tacoma and my radio displays this "please insert correct storage media device". I have nothing in usb ports, no cd in the radio, etc. also, the radio works but can't control anything. Does anyone no of a fix for this? Also, does anyone know the location of the SD slot for the radio?
